So it is time for the Final Push in December to see if we can buy the best opportunity stock to hit our yearly goalswe had set in the prior year. The market has been extremely choppy as of late, but it was time for me to make an investment. The investment was into my Roth-IRA account, and you’ll see why within the article. Whom did I make a purchase into? Let’s check this out. Continue reading →
So Lanny jumped the gun a little bit when he posted hisNovember dividend income summary last week. Hey Lanny…news flash….November ended yesterday, not last week. Who knows, maybe he had too much turkey on Thanksgiving and forgot that the month wasn’t actually over. Now that November has officially come to a close and we enter the FINAL month of 2015, it is time to take a look at the dividends received in November and check my progress compared to the previous quarterand year. As a community, we have made amazing strides as evidence through our monthly summary of dividend income from around the community. So let’s see if we could keep the momentum rolling in November!
Another month down. Holy smokes, we are only two months away from 2016. Man oh man does time fly by. Kind of scary when you think about it. Now that October has come to an end, it is time to put together my monthly dividend income summary and dissect one of the best feelings out there…receiving a dividend for doing absolutely nothing. Without further ado, let’s review my October dividend incomesummary!
What a month it has been. The Cavs began their postseason push, the weather was beautiful, I had a nice vacation to New England, and I received some nice dividend checks this month! What could be better. Over the weekend, Lanny put together a rock solid list highlighting the dividend income received by some of you in the dividend investing community. And I must say, that was one impressive list and it was fun to see how well everyone else performed. It helps me focus and continue to push myself to build income streams as large as all of yours. Some great motivation! Anyways, Lanny left one person off of the list…me. What the heck Lanny? So let’s fix that and see how well I stacked up against myself and others during the month of May.

Between helping plan a wedding, working a busy season, making some stock purchases and other big decisions (you guys will know soon enough!), the first three months were a giant blur. But these are all great events and I have set myself up to have a very memorable 9 months of 2015! This year I told myself that I was going to pay closer attention to my goals to make sure that I am on target to meet the goals and that way, if I need to, I can make any necessary adjustments. Well, here we go, let’s dive into my quarterly goal review!
Everyone, we have a lot of catching up to do! While I have been busy as heck at work over the last couple of weeks, I have also been very busy putting some capital to work! Over the last two weeks I have purchased three stocks with an average dividend yield of 4.98%, which in total added over $75 in forward dividend income to my portfolio. Which stocks did I purchase?
