Taxes. Oh taxes how I loathe you. Last year in 2016 for 2015’s tax year, you got the best of me and received a nice check at the last day possible. After that moment in Mid-April of 2016, I did not want to go down that path again. I therefore, did y researched, spent time soul-searching for days, weeks and months to come to a plan. Finally, I will say this – I believe this year I kicked Uncle Sam’s ass, and I will show you how!

Buying My Wife’s Next Car
Despite my disdain for the costs of owning a car, I find myself in a familiar situation…looking for a new car. This time, it isn’t a replacement for my dented Toyota Camry. Instead, my wife is looking for a new car. With the prospect of having a family being in the not so distant future, we are looking to upgrade my wife’s Honda Civic to an SUV. This article will summarize some of the discussions my wife and I had about car ownership along with discussing our final options that we are looking to purchase.
Lanny’s Q1 2017 Goals Update
Spring time is in the air and Easter has now been celebrated. Busy season is over, the snow is melted and the NBA playoffs have started. Baseball season is underway and the Cleveland Browns still have no idea what’s going on. I set my goals earlier on and it’s time to check back in after a rough few months to see how I am doing. Time to check in after 90 days of the pursuit of 2017’s goals, which is hopefully propelling and pushing 2018 soon-to-be goals to new levels. Continue reading

The purchase shouldn’t surprise too many of you. Often times, Lanny will find a great dividend growth stock on a discount and sell me on the fact that the company is a buy. Bert’s Q1 2017 Goals Review
With income summaries out the door, it is time to check up on my progress towards knocking out my 2017 goals.
