Expected Dividend Increases in March

We are coming off of a pretty active month in February.  I have been tracking Dividend Aristocrats that are expected to announce a dividend increase each month since May 2014, and February set a record as 8 companies were expected to announce an increase.   While March won’t pack the same punch with announced increases, it is the most active month in the quarter for receiving dividends!  Time to dive into the details, which Aristocrats are expected to announce dividend increases in March?

Itching for a Buy…Anxiety of a Dividend Growth Investor

It is Valentine’s Day and here I am wondering/thinking – wow, it’s been almost two weeks since I have made a stock purchase.  My last purchase was another small investment using a free trade credit into IBM and it was a small – $547.00 investment at that.  It hasn’t been a full two weeks, looking back, as the trade happened on February 3rd (I didn’t write about it, it was very minimal to my eyes) but when you are used to making almost weekly purchases, the dividend growth investor anxiety kicks in.

Bert’s Savings Rate Summary: January

Bert’s Dividend Income Summary – January

One month down, eleven more to go in 2015!  Man does time fly.  January has been quite the active month for me, as I have been slowly (but surely) adding dividend income to my portfolio through a series of small purchases.  While this won’t impact January’s income, I am setting the table for the remaining eleven months of the year.  After having a lot of activity in 2014, I am expecting to start the year off on the right foot and have a solid dividend month.  Let’s dive into the results and see how I performed in January.
