When talking about dividend increases, this is us talking about dividend investing, at it’s finest! Given the first quarter-end had recently passed, I wanted to reflect on what occurred over the last 3 months. This is not any old reflection, but specifically about dividend increases and their impact on my portfolio this year. Now that tax reform was 2018 news, how are the dividend increases stacking up this year?
Exciting times everyone. The stock market was up in April with a plethora of Dividend Stock Increases. However, the month of May has showed promise for undervalued dividend stocks, as always. The weather in Ohio cannot make up it’s mind. I literally have seen a notification say something on my phone, that baffles me. One evening, the weather notification stated, “It will be 33 degrees warmer tomorrow”. I’ll take the heat, but hate the swings! Sounds like the rollercoaster of the stock market, right? Time to check out my dividend stock watch list.

Therefore, here is my best shot at putting together my March Dividend Stock Watch List!
Yes, the financial investment engine of my dividend portfolio continues to receive steady capital on a consistent basis! The last purchase article saw me deploy $2,500, which was on the lighter side, but let’s just say that these two weeks did not disappoint They say money never sleeps and these prior 14 days were no different. It’s now time to find out my dividend stock purchases!

So today, I sat down and put together my initial December dividend stock watch list. There are a handful of companies on this listing, so lets dive right in!
The start to December has provided some rocky moments in the market, to say the least. There was a new stock that popped up on my screener (which will also be on my watch list going forward at these levels). It is the holiday season and I’m sure you have seen their delivery trucks buzzing around the neighborhood. Here is why I have initiated a position in United Parcel Services (UPS).
With the stock market still continuing it’s position at very high points – it has left us dividend value investors to find little-to no room to make a move. There have been flashes of companies taking a few steps back, such as Target (TGT) and Apple (AAPL), but what other companies are out there that may have not been in the public news, but that still look attractive right now? Well, I received a package in the mail the other day and had a conversation about what industries may be benefiting from low oil prices? What about shipping companies? Better yet… what about United Parcel service (UPS)? Let’s find out!
