It’s beginning to look a lot like “investmas”, as the dividend stocks are on this DD’s radar! I am attempting to sleigh ride my capital, making my list and checking it twice, as I’m trying to find out if the dividends are naughty or nice. Yes, I had to throw that in there for the Christmas spirit, but there are a lot of interesting opportunities out there for my portfolio! The cold weather has not only been hustling it’s way in, but also has chilled down the stock market in certain areas. Come on in and read more on who is on my Dividend Stock Watch List this Holiday Season!
Black Friday and Cyber Monday are looming folks. While others will spend hours upon hours waiting in line to capture those “Doorbusters,” I’ll be engaging in a different form of shopping. Shopping for dividend growth stocks! Each month, Lanny and I will put together a short list of stocks that have caught our attention and are strong contenders to be purchased when the timing is right. I’m hungry to add some forward dividend income to my portfolio this week, so let’s dive right in and see which stocks are on my November dividend stock watch list.
The calendar has flipped once again. You know what time that is…..time to summarize our monthly dividend income totals! To me, nothing is better than compiled your results for the month and seeing the growth realized in a short 12 month period. October came and went with a blink of an eye and it still blows my mind that 2018 is on the horizon. Before I start looking too far ahead, let’s take a look and review my October divided income totals.
I’m sitting at my dining room table with a freshly brewed cup of coffee and the fall breeze blowing in. What a beautiful fall day here in Northeast Ohio. With a lot of the expenses associated with moving in and updating our house in the rear-view mirror, I’m finally starting to flip on the investing switch again and aggressively look for great opportunities to add to or establish new positions. I’m inspired by Lanny’s recent dividend income month where he covered over 100% of his monthly housing expenses with his dividend income. If I want F.I.R.E, I need to go get it. So today, I sat down and found four dividend stocks that I would like to watch over the next month. Let’s take a look at my October dividend stock watch list.
Recently, I’ve had an itch to purchase a stock and I was motivated as heck to scratch the itch. The motivation is coming from all directions. Whether it was from seeing my cash balance increase since I have been hoarding cash while preparing to move into our house, seeing impressive growth rates in our monthly dividend investing income summary from the community, and quite frankly, watching Lanny to continue to add to his portfolio and see his dividend income soar. We all motivate each other and push each other, and seeing all of you crush it has motivated to move some cash from my recent “hoard” to my investment account and add a company that is on my last watch list. I still have a long, long, way to go if I am going to catch Lanny. But heck, I have to start somewhere, right?? All, check out why I added to my stake in Cardinal Health, Inc. (CAH) the other day.
It is insane that I am already writing my January dividend income summary. Time flies by. It seems like just yesterday I was preparing my goals for the year and trying to map out my year. Now, we are already 1/12 of the way through executing my strategy and aiming for the fences. With one month in the books, I figured it is appropriate to review my January dividend income figures and compare the results to last year. So much can happen in 12 months and now, it is time to see the fruits of my labor. Let’s dive into the the results!
Happy Halloween everyone! The fourth quarter started out with a bang and we are closing in on the new year quickly. I still cannot believe we are closing in on 2017; hopefully it will be as exciting for all of us as it is setting up to be for Lanny. The end of the month is always the best because it allows us to reflect on the growth we experienced over the last 30 or so days. I love seeing what the two of us and the dividend investing community were able to earn without lifting a finger. Now, it is time to take a look at my October Dividend Income summary!
