December Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers!

The final month of dividend income results for 2019!  Did we knock it out of the park, or what?

What’s crazy is how many stock purchases the two of us have made over the years that stemmed from an article we read on one of your websites.  We cherish this community.  Which is why we aggregate as many dividend income summary articles from around the community.  Here is the December 2019 version of the Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers series.  It is time to get motivated!

Dividend Earner – $2,074 – Let’s kick this article off with a BANG!  Earner crossed the $2,000 dividend income month.  Interestingly, this was not a record for Earner, who absolutely crushed it in November.

Reverse the Crush – $80.38 –  We’re certain this isn’t going to be the only time we see this phrase in this article. RTC had a “Record Setting Month” and posted a 72% increase compared to last year.  Keep pushing the ceiling higher and higher RTC.

Divgro – $3,026 –  This is an impressive dividend income total on its own.  But what makes this EVEN MORE impressive if the fact that Ferdi received all dividends from individual holdings.  Holy freaking cow!

Young Dividend – $1,768.07 – $253 dividends received from JNJ, one of our Top 5 Foundation Dividend Stocks.  Excellent looking stuff right there.  It is even better that you’re expecting a better month in January!

Dividends are Coming – 160.26 Euro –  Shell definitely carried the load for DAC this month.  But that doesn’t mean that DAC didn’t receive dividends from other strong companies.  MMM, KO, and UL are some of the other strong dividend payers that cut you a check this month!

I Want Dividend – 562.94 –  Erik’s strong dividend growth in 2019 continued in December.  Led by Washington Prime Group, he posted a 117% year-over-year growth rate.  Let’s see those impressive 2019 growth rates continue in 2020!

My Road to Wealth and Freedom – $2,297.86 –  Mutual funds and strong dividend payouts from individual holdings had a HUGE part in MRWF’s insane month.  The best part is that this was just a piece of the overall passive income picture here. In total , MRWF’s December passive income was nearly $3,200!

Dividend Compounder – $191.35 –  Highlighted several times in the article, Compounder’s growth and progress is really.  Compounder has a solid foundation of dividend stocks and that DEcember purchase of Simon Property Groups will do wonders to continuing the strong growth.

Desidividend – $2,688 –  Not only was this a new record, but this was the first month that Desi crossed the $2k mark for dividend income.  Clearly, this is the first of many times going forward 🙂

Dividend Portfolio – $116.51 –   Jumping from $7 last month to over $116 in December.  That’s a pretty darn big leap right there DP.  Keep looking ahead to 2020 and improving your financial position.  One step at a time.

My Dividend Dynasty – $1,186.39 –  A new personal record for MDD!  MDD shares many portfolio names with the two of us.  Reading about the new additions, dividend increases, and high payouts from common companies put a huge smile on our faces.  Keep at it MDD!

Dividend Gremlin – $515.51 –  A dividend summary and annual goals review, all wrapped into one for Gremlin!  The best part is that this was a record for Gremlin.  Congrats on crossing $500 and breaking this milestone once again in 2020.

Dividend Hawk – $1,845.14 –  Hawk continues to fly mightily in the sky.   The new dividends from P2P lending, UPS, and Brookfield were real game changers for you in December.  What a way to finish strong!

DivHut – $2,184.90 –  A baller month for Keith, who had an awesome 2019.  The best part wasn’t the insane growth rate, but rather the $1,000 dividend from BP!

Passive Income Vortex – $1,629.41 –  PIV posted a strong 10% YOY growth rate compared to last year.  PIV’s displays an awesome annual dividend chart that shows annual dividend income received and a very steep slope.  That’s some intense motivation right there!

Passive Income Pursuit – $1,537.20 –  JC received  $49 per day in dividend income in December .  That’s what happens when you have a TON of high quality, dividend growth stocks in your portfolio.  Awesome JC!

Time in the Market – $4,162.05 –  A personal record and a casual 20% growth rate compared to last year.  What’s insane is that the 20% growth rate was achieved over a very high 2018 income figure.  Unreal TITM!

Snug Fortune – $190.32 –  New dividends received from two utilities, NextEra Energy and Duke Energy, helped muscle Snug Fortune to a 45% increase in dividend income.  Congrats on a great 2019 SF!

Dividend Snail – $376.15 –  Snail received 17 dividends this month.  Here’s what is interesting, Snail also received dividends from the same 17 dividends last year.  It isn’t too often that you don’t have any new positions (or deletions) over a 12 month span.  Now, that doesn’t mean Snail didn’t add to existing positions during the year.

All About the Dividends – $752.25 – 2019 was an excellent year for Matthew.  For December, and the rest of the year, Matthew received A LOT of dividend income.  That’s what it is all about right there!

A Frugal Family’s Journey – $165.49 – Almost $200.  I know you have cash on the sidelines, but there has to be something undervalued on your radar!  Kudos to that Enbridge (ENB) dividend, getting big!

Mr. Free @ 33 – $1,621.55 – RECORD. SET.  Jason crushed through another milestone and also achieved an 8%+ dividend growth rate and that’s with less activity on the purchase front, since he’s been FI.  In addition, stop by the article, you will see the spread of his dividends over a LONG list of dividend companies.  Those companies are all packing a punch for him, one dividend at a time and the proof is in the pudding.  Congrats J!

Dividend Quest – $676.01 – I see your funds continue to send dividends your way.  In addition, your 2020 will start off better with dividends from AWP and USA.  Stay hungry out there and nice job on the December round-up.

Dividend Swan – $396.30 – 45 companies paid you… WOW!  That’s an average of $8.81.  It’s amazing the companies that you own, including one’s that I would love to.  In a few year’s, these amounts will all continue to go.  Freedom awaits.

Mr. Tako Escapes – $12,500.40 – Ending the year with a bang for the quarter-end!  Though Tako is financially free and independent, he still writes about his adventures and how they maintain their portfolio.  Further, they experienced a 14%+ growth rate from 2018 YTD through 2019 YTD.  That’s serious growth when you are working with numbers like he is.

Dividends Down Under – $535.68 – A new December record with an extraordinary growth rate, that’s for sure.  Further, you destroyed 2018’s amount by $1,100+ and you will be on your way to close in on $5k in 2020.  LET’S GO!!

Stalflare – 1,030 (Euro) – There we go, ANOTHER 1k month for you, which you had 7/12 for the year of 2019.  Can you make it 12/12 for 2020?  Let’s see what you can do!

Dividend Pig – $2,515.20 – Holy smokes. A quarter of the way to $10k.  I see you own Molson Coors (TAP) and I def. would cheers with you a nice cold brewski, especially for all of the investing you are doing.  Cheers DP!

Finance Journey – $1,336.51 –  The new personal record is always a treat FJ.  What was great to see was the fact that you were able to cross $10k in dividends received in 2019.  Congrats on crossing that threshold and now setting your sights to $20k.

Dividend Growth Engine – 33.69 (Euro) –  If you love seeing insane growth rates, you must see DGE’s dividend income summary.  Last year, DGE received 5.09 (Euro).  Talk about some amazing progress!  Excellent job DGE.

Tawcan – $2,092.24 –  Bob consistently crushed it during 2019.  Each month, he received at least $1,600 in dividend income.  This is about as consistent of a dividend picture as your going to get.  Excellent, excellent stuff.  Keep on motivating us all!

DGX Capital – $818.34 –  That’s a new personal record if I’ve ever seen one.  That 91% dividend growth rate compared to last year is just insanity DGX.  Cha Ching!

Seeking the Dividends – $315.70 –  Welcome back Seeking.  Your first dividend income update in 6 months was a doozy!  Purchases of stocks like MMM and PEP will continue to fuel your growing income stream.

Kody’s Dividend – $91.63 –  Kody, man, you are closing in on the doorstep of $100 in December.  Next year, you are going to be pushing $200.  I know it!

Money Maaster – $879.25 –  Jordan ended the year in style.  Not only did you receive some strong dividends, but your post showed some amazing family pictures and some awesome drinks.  Sounds like the perfect holiday season!

Dividend Income Stocks – $491.80 – German is firing on all cylinders here.  There are several sources of passive income contributing to the bottom line.  That’s what we like to see.

Passive Canadian Income – $615.95 –  The slight dividend increase was due to a portfolio rebalancing that occurred.  Although, lets be real, the $10 decrease is not a material amount of money at all.  As always, enjoy that solar income PCI.

Passive Cash – $178.68 –  Welcome to the Buckeye State Passive Cash.  It is always great to interact with a fellow Ohioan.  Excellent results from a dividend income standpoint and you share many of the same names we do!

My Financial Shape – $516 – Now that’s how you finish off strong MFS!  Imperial Brands and Shell led the charge for you by producing over half of your dividend income for the month!

Engineering Dividends – $1,151.12 –  Engineering Dividend had a photo finish with achieving the goal of receiving $10k in dividend income in 2019.  Luckily, the goal was knocked out in the final month.  Way to end 2019 ED and push yourself that much closer to financial freedom.

Divcome – $595.33 – 33 companies contributed to Divcome’s impressive December results.  Those new purchases are only going to help fuel future dividend increases.  Way to go Divcome.

Dividend Guy Blog – $483.14 – Making moves DGB!  Literally, you’re in Vietnam.  A solid Microsoft (MSFT) dividend at over $30 per quarter and your Visa (V) position is insane!  Love it.  Congrats and excited to see what’s to come.

Total:  42 Bloggers Received $56,518.02 in Dividends in December (depending on the exchange rate used at the time of the calculation).

  1. That’s amazing! $56k+ and nearly a $1,350 average across everyone. It’s amazing to see the difference that just a few months can make, let alone a year. Love seeing the totals and especially the growth that many people had. I can’t wait to see what December 2020 looks like, although I in no way want it to be here yet!

  2. Hey guys,

Appreciate being included. Thank you so much!

Awesome stuff to see what the community has grown into. I still remember the early days, back in 2011 or so. Just a few bloggers around. And we were working with very, very small numbers. Super proud to see so many people diligently sticking with it, now reaping those rewards.

Looking forward to seeing what we all do throughout 2020.

    Best regards.

  3. Wow. Pretty awesome. Always look forward to this article to see the progress and to cherry pick some good stock ideas. My favorite recurring article on all of the internets…
I did $1601, up almost 18% from the year before .
And that is thanks to the other bloggers who give me the motivation and direction to keep plugging away at this.

  4. Oh wow!!!! Congrats to all for December and 2019. Really amazing results all around. You have to love those end of quarter months too. The true power of DGI. Why this strategy is still frowned upon by many baffles me. Keep it going in ’20.

  5. What a fantastic result for the community in closing 2019. I am sure 2020 will be even bigger. My journey might also be included again in the list. Wow, really pumped!

  10. Wow! 56k in a month?! We killed it in 2019 and I’m sure we will once again in 2020. As always, thanks for including me in what has long been my favorite series.

  11. This is SO awesome! These totals are getting craaazy, 4 digits seem like the new normal and that means everyone is getting closer to ???? bit by bit. Looking forward to hit that milestone myself in the brokerage account. Can’t wait to see what 2020 brings for THIS community.

  12. Very impressive! Think about how much charity could be done to improve other people’s lives once all of us are financially independent.

With charity i’m not suggesting giving money. Just using your time to improve other people’s live, i.e. even just being able to care for our dearest.

  13. This is unreal! Over 56k in dividends from 42 bloggers. It’s so cool to see all the reports together. It’s motivating for Dividend Investors in the early stages like me. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Keep it up! 🙂
