Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers! – February 2021

The stock market continues to set incredible records, with the S&P 500 even breaking 4,000!  In addition, March ended with massive dividend increases and dividend income received.

That’s the beauty about this community – we made it through ONE year of the global pandemic and are coming out of this COVID-19 filled year – BETTER THAN EVER!  You know what time it is – time to see the Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers – February 2021 style!

Young Dividend – $1,969.08 – Whoa, in an off month, almost $2k?!  Take it easy Young Dividend!  You sure are showing how you can live off of dividend income, the journey to financial freedom is right there!  Amazing how large your General Mills (GIS) position is, congrats on their first dividend increase in quite some time, by the way!

My Dividend Dynasty – $676.32 – Verizon (VZ) and AT&T (T) bringing home the gold for you!  Loving it.  I think they will take 5G to the next level and AT&T (T) is battling in the streaming wars for sure.

Dividend Pig – $1,707 – Love that your dividend from CVS Pharmacy (CVS) is almost $100.  Soon, we will have dividend growth, as I’m convinced they are knocking out their debt levels.  Can’t wait until my February income figures near yours!

A Frugal Family’s Journey – $376.44 – Vodafone (VOD) – a name you don’t see often, carrying the torch for you.  Is it me, or do all telecommunication stocks pay in these months or what?!  Keep investing AFFJ, pay down the mortgage, open cash flow and reach financial independence.

Passive Canadian Income – $359.94 – The best part of this income summary wasn’t the awesome total. Rather, it is the fact that you added over $71 in dividend income via 7 dividend increases. 3M certainly didn’t help. However, how SWEET is that. You didn’t have to lift a finger to earn that income!

Money Maaster – $583.47 – The dividends continue to roll in for Jordan. Not only are you expanding your whiskey collection, you are also expanding your dividend collection as well!

Dividend Seedling – $58.47 – The seedling continues to grow and sprout a nice dividend income tree. That 28% year over year dividend growth rate is FANTASTIC. Between the two of us, we own all but one of the companies that paid you a dividend in February.

Dividend Portfolio – $22.94 – It is a blast watching you rebuild your dividend income stream and seeing the impressive growth rates that come from fast growth. You’ll be back at your 2018 levels in no time!

Dividend Quest – $595.61 – Quest still posted almost $600 in dividend income despite a slight decrease compared to last year. The OHI dividend of $127 provided a huge chunk of cash, and that was even after you sold off a few shares of the company.

Engineering Dividend – $794.76 – Dividend paying companies shifting their dividend payments struck another dividend blogger. It felt like there were a ton of companies that paid dividends in February 2020 that didn’t pay once again in February 2021! The good news is that you will receive a HUGE bump in March compared to last year. Get ready to CRUSH IT!

Simple Dividend Growth – $2,837.59 –  Absolute insanity is documented in this dividend income article. SDG received over $700 from Omega Healthcare and $600 from AT&T! The fun didn’t stop there, as two other companies paid $250+ in dividends!

Dividends Down Under – $57.78 – For those counting, that is a nice little 38.5% increase compared to last year. Slowly, but surely, you are starting to build out your income in the remaining months of the year!

Stalflare – 1,339 Euro – Stalflare was back on the board with stock purchases during the month. That is the critical part to growing your dividend income going forward! Keep pushing your income forward through buying income producing assets!

A Dividend Dream – $132 – The new dividend from Bristol-Myers Squibb was a game-changer for you in February. It have your year over year dividend growth rate a jolt compared to last year. Don’t worry, we are getting tired of waiting for AT&T to announce a dividend increase as well!

Dividend Hawk – $1,289.17 – Another blogger that added BMY to their portfolio in the last 12 months! Dividend Hawk posted another strong, four digit dividend income month despite a slight decrease compared to last year. Man, the companies switching their dividend paying month is absolutely BRUTAL!

Reverse The Crush – $41.54 –  Keeping things moving. You did post one insane statistic in your article. 68% of your dividend income is from Royal Bank of Canada! Can’t go wrong with a large Canadian Bank!

Time in The Market – $297.72 – TITM making some moves on the home ownership front. It was also great for you to post a 76% savings rate too! That is how you fuel growth in your dividend stock portfolio our friend.

Project 2035 – $66 – Oh no. no one likes a dividend cut. Especially when that company is your largest dividend paying stock for the month. While it sucks, you have to think about all the other great holdings and companies out there that are announcng a dividend increase.

Divcome – $402.07 – AT&T, GIS, and ABBV led the charge here for Divcome. T produced well over $100 in income and while GIS and ABBV were a close second and third, producing $63 and $58 in dividend income, respectively. These three power house dividend stocks helped produce a strong month for Divcome.

Kody’s Dividend – $98.44 – Man, just a bit under $100 per share in dividend income for Kody. oh so close to joining the three digit club! You received a huge bump from companies that slashed their dividend during the pandemic that reinstated the dividend during the current year. Excellent stuff!

Dividend Growth Journey – $516.63 –  The Power of AT&T and its nearly 7% dividend yield continues to be felt throughout the dividend investing community. Interestingly, UNM also flexed its muscles as well. Maybe its time to check out this company to see if it is a stock to buy!

My Road to Wealth and Freedom – $234.56 – No, that’s not a straight. It is MRWF’s dividend income! What’s always impressive about this dividend income report is that dividend income makes up a small portion of MRWF’s total passive income stream!

Dividend Earner – $3,863 – Mic drop right here for Dividend Earner. Almost $4k in dividend income…in an off month. What else could we possibly say. That’s how you inspire us and so many others to continue PUSHING towards financial freedom.

Tawcan – $1,795.33 – After a record setting January, Bob “only” received nearly $1,800 in dividend income. Even though you may think it was a bit of a disappointment, you have to remember how many people are inspired by this number and will use it as motivation! That’s what it is all about.

Another Loonie – $394 – This is really freaking cool. The dividend income received was able to cover Another Loonie’s grocery, cell phone, and internet bills! Now that is what financial freedom is all about. Now, lets keep going and cover more bills!

Chicken Wizard – $1,397.03 – It is exciting when a company announces one special dividend in a year, let alone two! congrats on that HUGE special dividend from OMF. It is great to see that it pushed you over the $1k dividend income total for the month!

Desidividend – $484.75 – Those 5 new positions compared to last year made a huge difference Desi. That’s how you grow your dividend income! In addition, what is cool is that a lot of the new dividend paying stocks on your list are from the banking sector.

Dividend Cultivator – $1,427.77 – It was pretty simple here. 8 dividend growth stocks paid an insane amount of money to Dividend Cultivator during the month of February. You are going to crush your current pace of $17k in dividends received at this rate.

My Dividend Snowball – $944.54 – Wow. ABBV and the Canadian Banks strike again for yet another dividend blogger! These clearly are some of the favorites in the community. Hopefully, at this pace, you will easily crush the $1k mark in May.

Dividend Machine – $31.47 – We saw our two favorite words in this dividend income summary: PERSONAL RECORD. That is what it is all about. Cotninuing to invest, receive dividend increases, and help set new records. Guess what, come May, you should be setting a new record once again!

Dividends and Divergences – $35.68 – Pumped you also own Westrock (WRK)!  Is it about time a dividend increase comes our way, or what?!

Dividend Pursuit – $352.84 – We do share a ton of names, that list you have is huge.  I see you own TD (TD).  I am very interested in that Canadian Bank right now, hard to find undervalued dividend growth stocks.

Dividend & Hobbies – $629.09 – Love that dividend growth D&H!  First, your Apple (AAPL) dividend is huge – you should be getting a dividend increase soon/in April.  Second, ABBV (ABBV) dividend is also massive.  What a growth rate they’ve been able to keep up!

Little Dividends – $7.38 – Welcome back to the dividend investing game!  It’s okay, when you find time to start dividend investing again, dividend stocks will be ready for you.  Stay consistent and hungry.

The Money Sprout – $305.98 – I would tend to agree Procter & Gamble (PG) is a buy and hold forever stock, no doubt.  It’s no surprise they are a TOP 5 FOUNDATION DIVIDEND STOCK!  Keep your vision clear, you’re doing great!

BAMF Money – $2,511.29 – WOW, over $2.5K in an off-month, amazing.  You have the recipe down.  Save and continue to invest.  Turn off the noise and keep investing.  Such a simple process to dividend investing!

Financially Free in 10 years – 96.21 (Euro) – I think it is awesome you have Texas Instruments (TXN) and of course Hormel (HRL).  Two amazing dividend growth stocks.  What I really want to see is a dividend increase from CVS Pharmacy (CVS), come on!

Root of Good – $325 – Not too bad for an off-month.  I know it’s not $15,000 like you had last December, but all of your other income sure adds up!  You definitely show that blog income can be a true income source.

Seeking the Dividends – $186.53 – I am pumped you are collecting dividends from Verizon (VZ), a stock on my April dividend stock watch list.  Keep it up!

Dreaming of Dividends – $961 – I don’t see the name of American Tower Corp (AMT) often, or at all.  The dividend increases on AMT seem so amazing.  Very curious on this dividend paying stock, which is a REIT.  Thank you for sharing your journey!

Capturando Dividendos – $799.60 – British Tobacco (BTI) is lighting a fire in February for you!  I own Philip Morris (PM), but I know the debate is about which is better amongst PM, BTI or Altria (MO).  Great job and almost to $1k!

Wallet Squirrel – $64.68 – There we go.  Love your site.  You really are cranking out great content on the blog.  In addition, love that you use the income to buy dividend growth stocks, of course!  Also, pumped you also own Verizon (VZ)!

Dividends from Scratch – $183.53 – I see that you own Stag Industrial (STAG).  In fact, we did a video between them and Realty Income (O) a few months ago.  Solid, monthly dividend paying REIT!

DivGro – $2,151 – Bring on General Dynamics (GD) baby!  The dividend aristocrat stock was big on my list for a long time.  I definitely bought quite a bit of their stock during 2019 and 2020.  Love the dividend!

Finance Journey – $759.99 – The Canadian Dividend Bank stocks are very real and present in February!  I love it.  I see you own Bank of Montreal (BMO).  I (Lanny) own Canadian Imperial (CM) and my wife owns Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS).  Keep it up!

Family Saver – $298.12 – I have never heard of Enghouse Systems (ENGH).  How did you stumble across them?  They seem to grow their dividend each year, and who doesn’t love an income producing, dividend growing stock!  Please share!

More Money Guru – $2,871.64 – WHOA.  Huge.  The guru crushed it in February!  Keep reinvesting those dividends and let the dividend snowball roll on!  Insane numbers, keep inspiring.

F.I.R.E. We Go – $1,695.54 – I know how hard it is not to collect a dividend from AT&T (T).  At almost 7% on the dividend yield front, it always makes the dividend stock list and almost every dividend investor’s portfolio.  You are well on your way to FIRE, so here we GO!

Matthew Utesch – $1,470.14 – Heck yes!  You are crushing it.  Almost $1.5k in a taxable stock account, during February, which is typically a slow/bad month.  Financial freedom is there, you’ve got this!

The Dividend Guy – $250.68 – Taking a little off the table from Apple (AAPL) and added VFCorp (VFC) eh?  Increasing that dividend income every year regardless between those two!  Love your blog and videos, keep at it.  Good stuff!  I can’t wait until the Canadian bank stocks grow their dividend again.

Mr. Tako Escapes – $67.93 – Mr. Tako, we all know your March dividend income is about to be 20x that!  I know I am anxiously anticipating that article, to show the dividend investing community this can be done!  Financial Freedom!

Divs4Jesus – $135.87 – The special dividends always make it lopsided!  Take them, for sure, when you get them, but I understand what it does to the volatility of dividend income.  However, your portfolio is strong with AT&T (T), Omega Healthcare (OHI) and Texas Instruments (TXN) paving the way.

Our Life Financial – $1,490.56 – WHOA!  Another February income amount greater than $1k!  HUGE!  That Royal Bank (RY) dividend is so nice, eh? Congrats on reaching $25,000 in projected/forward income.  AMAZING!

Stefan Redlich – $350 – This dividend summary shows the true power of dividend reinvestment. The year over year increase realized represents an increase due to dividend reinvestment and dividend increases. Nice job Stefan!

Journey to Total Freedom – $189.75 – Holy freaking cow. Ignore the dividend income for JTF. The true story here is that INSANE savings rate of 95%. That’s how you build a dividend stock portfolio right there.

Dividends & FNB – $446.70 – Heck yeah. This blogger more than doubled their dividend income compared to last year. Time to keep that dividend snowball rolling downhill and picking up steam!

Legend of Income – $182.49 – Over 20 payments received by Legend of Income during the month. Like so many other bloggers, including us, AT&T stole the show for you in terms of dividend income. Lets not sleep on the impacy ABBV and BMY had on your income as well.

Reinis Fischer – $62.69 – Despite the large decrease compared to last year, the dividend income continues to roll in from other sources. Keep the income rolling in!

Mooi Dividends – 51.21 (Euros) – Easy. 4 dividend stocks paid you a dividend in February. The only one from your list that we don’t own is Synchrony Financial.

Passive Income Pursuit – $315.06 – The numbers speak for themselves. However, the one number in your article that jumps off the page is $121.63. That represents the new dividend income added to your portfolio in February from purchases, raises, and DRIP. Heck yeah JC!

Total:  60 Bloggers Received $41,269 in Dividends in February (depending on the exchange rate used at the time of the calculation).

The community averaged $688 in dividend income this month! That’s right, we found yet another new blogger to add to our article, as we included 1 more person in February than in January. Man it is great seeing our community continue to grow, as more people learn about the power of dividend investing!

Every month, we talk about how awesome this community is. We truly mean it. Dividend investors continue to surprise, impress, and most importantly, inspire us to push harder to reach financial freedom sooner!

The name of the game is buying income producing assets that increase your passive income. Build that growing, passive income stream that will one day cover your living expenses.

We always preach the importance of remaining consistent and investing as much of our income as possible over the years. The saying goes “It is about time in the market, not timing the market.”  We truly believe that dividend income is the easiest source of passive income (Read our 5 Reason Why). Therefore, let’s continue to save every dollar possible, cut expenses, and do whatever it takes to reach this coveted end game.

  1. Awesome results from everyone. Really eager to see how March turns out for everyone. I think we’re getting back to a spot where companies are starting to raise dividends and/or brining them back if they paused them as the world rolls towards returning to some sort of normality.

Most (if not all) of the bloggers here had the courage and foresight to invest in last years market drop and that is really starting to show in everyone’s portfolio for 2021 as folks are consistently starting to report YoY growth. Always amazed at the communities tenacity and growth, great job everyone.

  3. Congrats to everyone! It’s really a pleasure to see all corners covered: dividend investors just starting, those already seeing some significant monthly income and then the big fish dividend hunters. Inspiring to look ahead but also where we are coming from.
    UNM came back quite a bit but I still consider the stock undervalued.
