Bert’s July Dividend Income Summary

Man, talk about tough acts to follow. Lanny had one heck month hauling in a crazy $740 in dividend income during this “off” month. Congrats on the great month Lanny! With figures like that, I am setting myself up for yet another defeat in July, which makes perfect sense considering his portfolio is nearly triple the size of mine. However, I have one glimmer of hope this month that can catapult me to fictitious victory over Lanny. What is it? I own more shares of Kraft than Lanny. The question is, will this one-time special dividend be enough to push my dividend income for the month over $740. Let’s find out!

Lanny’s Income & Expense Summary – May, June & July

Remember when we had those posts regarding income and expense summaries? Well.. I’ll be damned if I didn’t realize I haven’t posted about this since the summary for April 2015. Aka – more than 3 months have passed that I haven’t showed any results from the income and expense summary side of my life. I haven’t shown how I am able to fund my investment purchases, how I’ve been able to balance both living and ht epursuit of financial freedom, as well as – achieving the 60% savings challenge. Lanny’s July Dividend Income

We are in the heat of summer, which means it’s time to cool down, take a deep breath and see what fruit the month has grown for us in terms of dividend income! Lanny’s 2nd Quarter Goals Check Up

Now that 2 full quarter’s are in the book, it’s a great time to see where I stand in comparison to Q1, but also to the 2015 goals I set for myself towards the end of last year. It has been such a unique year thus far, and 6 months have come and gone. Question I have to find out now is – am I hitting my goals? Am I on pace to somehow reach those items I set? Bert’s Quarterly Goals Review – Q2 2015

My goodness, we are halfway through 2015 and man has it been a fun ride. The second quarter was a lot of fun and I felt like the market presented some great opportunities for dividend investors to take advantage of, whether the market had a general pullback from fundamentals or due to the most-recent saga in the everlasting Greek saga. With all the purchases we had, I moved that much closer to accomplishing my goals in 2015 and I closed the gap on some of my largest, most difficult goals. Now that the quarter is over, I wanted to take some time to review my progress and see where I stand and if any adjustments need to be made before it is too late.

Bert’s June Dividend Income Summary

June is coming to a close and you know what that means….we are officially halfway through 2015! That’s right, our year is nearly 50% completed. Are you kidding me?? It seems like just yesterday that I was writing my 2015 goals article and trying to scheme about how I am going to knock these goals off. This month is one of my favorite dividend months as most of my portfolio pays out in third month of the quarter, so this is always one of my favorite articles to write! Let’s see how I performed in June and if I was able to knock of Lanny, who had one heck of a month as well racking up nearly $850 in dividend income!
