Well, well… the iron strikes again on the same pipeline stock. One couldn’t resist the aftermath throughout last week and I had to end the month of October on a strong point. Heck, even Bert purchased additional shares into Kinder Morgan (KMI) at the end of October. Looks like I had to end the month of October with a bang, and with a bang I did.

October is here! World Series baseball is in full swing and we are counting down the months to the end of the year. Holidays are amongst us with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Now is the time we really start to make the final push towards our final goals, investing metrics and dividend goals. Now… to the numbers!

Another month down. Holy smokes, we are only two months away from 2016. Man oh man does time fly by. Kind of scary when you think about it. Now that October has come to an end, it is time to put together my monthly dividend income summary and dissect one of the best feelings out there…receiving a dividend for doing absolutely nothing. Recent Buy (KMI) & Crossing an Investing Milestone
It turns out that Lanny was not the only one with an itch to buy. I have been watching the market closely over the last few weeks calculating an entry point for one of the stocks on my watch list, WalMart, when another great dividend stock appeared out of nowhere. Just like Lanny, I couldn’t resist purchasing one of the darlings of the dividend growth investing community. This week, I also invested in Kinder Morgan (KMI).

Typically Lanny and I post a combined watch list; however, in October, we are changing the format slightly for a variety of reasons. In this article, I am going to discuss the two stocks that I am watching closely, especially considering the fact that I have a little extra capital to deploy. The waters have seemed to calm down after the turbulent September and it is difficult to find as many great discounts since the stock market had a mini recovery from the crazy downturn.
