Just when you thought summer was winding down, I am writing this in blistering heat out there – as it has just about touched 90 degrees here in Northeast Ohio. Last month I said it was raining dividends, well this month – we are scorching dividends baby! We are now EIGHT months down with FOUR monstrous months left to kick butt. I have been spending even more time to see where things are looking, financially, and let’s just say it’ll be a grind through the end of the year. Let’s grab that cup of coffee and see my August results!
We’ve closed the chapter on yet another month of 2016. Time moves so fast…it is unreal. It seems like just yesterday I was typing up my July dividend income summary and feeling excited for what was in store for me in August (probably because we went on our honeymoon!). I received my last dividend of the month a few days ago, so it is finally time to once again share my results and track my progress as I race towards completing my 2016 goals. With that being said, here it is, my August Dividend Income Summary!
Well, well… the iron strikes again on the same pipeline stock. One couldn’t resist the aftermath throughout last week and I had to end the month of October on a strong point. Heck, even Bert purchased additional shares into Kinder Morgan (KMI) at the end of October. Looks like I had to end the month of October with a bang, and with a bang I did.
Last month Lanny beat me to the punch and unleashed an amazing $740 dividend income month in July. It was a tough act to follow, especially considering that I came close but fell short of beating him. While it is unlikely to happen again, there is one thing I can promise….I will get my article out first this month! That really is not the point here though. We write these articles monthly so we can track our progress and see how far along we have come in such a short period of time. We have been in the dividend investing community for nearly a year and a half now and writing this article each month never gets old. With that being said, let’s take a look at my August dividend income summary.
