We think our first interview of one of our favorites, Dividend Hustler, went really well and hopefully many of you found out why Hustler’s kindness and humor make for one entertaining blog. November is underway folks! The market has had a blood bath out there and it was time for me to re-up in a position that I already had a stake in. Let’s just say – it was about time to pump my retirement accounts back up, since I haven’t contributed to that bad boy in months. Let’s see what purchase transaction I had!

Another month down. Holy smokes, we are only two months away from 2016. Man oh man does time fly by. Kind of scary when you think about it. Now that October has come to an end, it is time to put together my monthly dividend income summary and dissect one of the best feelings out there…receiving a dividend for doing absolutely nothing. Without further ado, let’s review my October dividend income summary!
Typically Lanny and I post a combined watch list; however, in October, we are changing the format slightly for a variety of reasons. In this article, I am going to discuss the two stocks that I am watching closely, especially considering the fact that I have a little extra capital to deploy. The waters have seemed to calm down after the turbulent September and it is difficult to find as many great discounts since the stock market had a mini recovery from the crazy downturn. September is over and a lot of us haven taken the first few weeks of October to look back and reflect on the crazy month of September. The turbulent market presented many great buying opportunities, as evidenced by what felt like a daily purchase article on our website, and benefits such as DRIPing at a lower price. Preparing a dividend income summary article that includes the results of a few others in the community (I wish we could include all) has been a pleasure over the last few months. It allows us to share our successes together and push each other to knock out our goals so we can all escape this insane rat race. We all have the same end game after all! Even after writing my September Dividend Income Summary, I still can’t believe that the third quarter of 2015 has come to a close. Holy cow, where has all of the time gone? Just like Lanny, I perform a quarterly goal review to track my progress so I can make any necessary adjustments before it is too late. Let’s take a look at my progress through the first nine months of 2015!
