The Dividend Diplomats were back at it again! Yes, both of us purchased the same company approximately two weeks ago and we wanted to share the purchase article with you. And yes, this is the second time we have both purchased a stock at the same time in 2016. Due to both of being busy with work, traveling, vacations, festivity planning, etc.. we were taken away from writing this article closer to the date of the stock purchases we made. Given that we are both Financial Institution auditors, we purchased a bank that is already friendly in our portfolio – Citizens & Northern (CZNC). Time to cash in those checks for stock!

Lanny’s Q1 2016 Goals Update
Now that Q1 is long and in the books and we are already more than 3 weeks into April – I thought it would be a great time to reflect on the last 3 months and see where I am in line with my goals. There are 9 months to go and I’m curious if I am seeing any sort of light at the end of this tunnel. Of course, doing a Q1 goals update, also means that another busy season (#5 for me) is in the books and the air becomes more apparent for me to breathe in – all of you accountants – you know what I’m talking about! I set lofty goals back in December of 2015 for my 2016 year and this first quarter has been a blur. With the blur – let’s see if I was able to make out anywhere to make progress.
Wells Fargo & Co (WFC) Stock Analysis
Banks. BIG Banks. This is one industry in 2016 that has not taken off/sky rocketed or have said – even with negative evidence troubling the world we are going to appreciate. This is one of the industries that has looked in the mirror and said – oil, world crises, earnings, and other economic factors do play a toll on my business and our price will reflect that. As the S&P is slightly up for the year, one company is down 13.39% year to date. Let’s find out the Dividend Diplomat Stock Metrics over… Wells Fargo & Company (WFC).
Lanny’s March Dividend Income Summary
Quarter 1 of 2016 is officially in the books, which means a quarter end month of dividend income has occurred! The reason why I specifically mention the quarter-end, as this is typically a larger than normal month for dividend income, as there are substantially more payers in the U.S. that pay on those specific months as opposed to others. This also marks my fifth busy season as an auditor being completed and I can wake up on Saturday not feeling like I need to be working for the firm, feels nice. This is also one of the exciting time periods where we will read on individuals breaking their record for dividend income for the month! All great news here. Without any more introduction, let’s take a look at what Dividend Income was received for March 2016!
Lanny’s March Stock Watch List
Well, the market hasn’t laid on too many opportunities for us, but we still have stocks on our watch list. Nothing too crazy has happened, so this was very tough and easy at the same. Slow and study or keep it simple stupid or uhm… you get the drill. This isn’t anything wild but here is the March of 2016 stock watch list!
Why I Haven’t Purchased a Stock in 30 Days
30 days everyone. It has been a long 30 days since I have purchased a stock. An investment. A bridge stone to financial freedom and it feels… well, there really isn’t one word for it. It is weird, fast and unusual, to say the least. As I sit and see the calendar continue to gain momentum towards, now, the end of March, I sit back and think, whoa, it’s been over 4 weeks since an investment move has been made. Why? Here is what I was able to come up with.
