1/3 of the way finished with the year. Only 8 more months to go, NBA playoff basketball is going wild right now and I just returned from a vacation and am about to depart to be in one of my best friends wedding this afternoon. April was a wild month to push through, but something tells me – I haven’t seen anything yet. However, enough of hearing me talk about the past and what’s to come, let’s get into the real deal April dividend income summary!

Bert’s April Dividend Income Summary
Another month bites the dust! 2016 is officially 33% over everyone! The market began showing signs of weakness towards the tail end of the month and it seems like every dividend investor had a collective sigh of relief. There were two stocks that I have been big fans of for a while that finally had a nice pullback, so they earned a spot on my Watch List. The don’t have the highest yield, but they are all star companies in their industry. Let’s hope the slide continues for Visa and Starbucks. Back to business, now that I have received my final April dividend income summary.
March Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers!
Spring is finally in the air (no matter how cold it is where you live). March is officially over and you know what that means….baseball season is here! Oh wait, this is an investing blog. We mean that we all get the chance to put together our Dividend Income summary reports and find out how well we are progressing in this journey towards financial freedom. You all know the drill by now. Each month, we pull together a report of dividend income from many other bloggers in the community to see their progress! We wish we could summarize them all, trust us. Now, let’s take a look at how some of our fellow bloggers perform during March.
Lanny’s March Dividend Income Summary
Quarter 1 of 2016 is officially in the books, which means a quarter end month of dividend income has occurred! The reason why I specifically mention the quarter-end, as this is typically a larger than normal month for dividend income, as there are substantially more payers in the U.S. that pay on those specific months as opposed to others. This also marks my fifth busy season as an auditor being completed and I can wake up on Saturday not feeling like I need to be working for the firm, feels nice. This is also one of the exciting time periods where we will read on individuals breaking their record for dividend income for the month! All great news here. Without any more introduction, let’s take a look at what Dividend Income was received for March 2016!

No everyone, this is not an elaborate April Fools joke. I am actually posting my dividend income article before Lanny this month. Somehow, some way, he has always managed to publish his article first. Well not so fast my friend! I am ready to roll here and review my March dividend income. The final month of every quarter is always my favorite because a large percentage of companies pay their dividend in this month, so each day is action packed. It really makes each day exciting! Let’s take a look and see how much dividend income I received this year and how it compares to the same month last year.

Bert’s February Dividend Income Summary
Well, well, well. Looks like another month has finally come to a close. We are in the first couple of weeks of a new month, so you know what that means… it is time to post my monthly dividend income update. What seems to be a recurring theme, Lanny beat me to the punch and published his February income summary last week. I want to echo everything the commenters said about his month. He crushed it and increased his February dividend income 43% compared to 2015. That was with KMI’s dividend cut. Congrats on the awesome month Lanny! Internally, I created this competition to defeat Lanny in terms of a dividend growth rate each month. 43% is a high bar to surpass, so let’s see if my dividend income in February grew more than his.
