It turns out that Lanny was not the only one with an itch to buy. I have been watching the market closely over the last few weeks calculating an entry point for one of the stocks on my watch list, WalMart, when another great dividend stock appeared out of nowhere. Just like Lanny, I couldn’t resist purchasing one of the darlings of the dividend growth investing community. This week, I also invested in Kinder Morgan (KMI).
It’s been a while since I’ve come out with a post. Just for the readers – I’m a public accounting firm in a top 10 firm that audits SEC registrants and the last week I’ve been in the middle of our own regulators inspection process on the audit work that we perform – therefore, my days have been approximately 12-15 hours long, depending on the day, been a whirlwind, but thank God for Bert, the other Diplomat for continuing to write away. Thank you Bert. I’ll also do a spin off with him and write about my October Watch List. Let’s see what stocks are high on my list and which one’s I would actually consider to invest into. “There’s only one October!”
Holy cow everyone, time has flown by! I can’t believe we are flying through July already. Before it is too late and we are already looking ahead to August, I wanted to continue our monthly series of Dividend Aristocrats that are expected to announce each month. Let’s take a look at which Aristocrats are expected that are set to increase their dividend in July 2015!
6 months have passed! It’s now a quarter end as well, giving us another homerun of a month for Dividend Income. Also, as summer just turned the page to begin, let’s see if brighter sun and warmer weather also aligned with a blockbuster of a month for dividend income!
We are at the mid-point everyone! This is a great time to reflect on our goals, see what changes we need to make going forward and to assess what went right/wrong, and to make decisions from there. I am extremely excited to close the first half of the year, but am ever-so looking forward to the next half. Let’s see what June 2014 brought in my June Investment Report.
Hey everyone. It’s that time again, to guess which companies will announce a Dividend Increase! As a dividend growth investor, I enjoy seeing which companies increase their dividend and attempting to guess the announced increase. As we approach the final business week of the month, we will project which Dividend Aristocrats will announce a dividend increase in July based on their dividend history.
