Whoo! Here we go! The Cavs just clinched the Eastern Conference and are going to The Finals – beginning June 2nd, two of my best friends were married this month and I’m excited to see what opportunities lie ahead going into the last 7 months of the year. The market has been essentially slightly up since the end of May, but not by much – however, we still do have Tuesday, May 31st to make a statement (I’d be happy with a 5% stock shock downwards… haha). With that – let’s check out what dividends were received in this month of May 2016!

The Most Important Dividend Metric in Difficult Times
I was laying in bed thinking of this day and age, the performance of companies and how critical attributes are in determining what is the absolute most important metric for a dividend stock you own. I began reviewing the list of stocks that I currently own, you name it – Procter & Gamble (PG), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), AT&T (T) and other big dividend aristocrats and I finally saw the trend of what made my stomach feel uneasy and what made it feel comfortable. Dividend Diplomats Recent Buy – CZNC
The Dividend Diplomats were back at it again! Yes, both of us purchased the same company approximately two weeks ago and we wanted to share the purchase article with you. And yes, this is the second time we have both purchased a stock at the same time in 2016. Due to both of being busy with work, traveling, vacations, festivity planning, etc.. we were taken away from writing this article closer to the date of the stock purchases we made. Given that we are both Financial Institution auditors, we purchased a bank that is already friendly in our portfolio – Citizens & Northern (CZNC). Time to cash in those checks for stock!

Lanny’s April Dividend Income Summary
1/3 of the way finished with the year. Only 8 more months to go, NBA playoff basketball is going wild right now and I just returned from a vacation and am about to depart to be in one of my best friends wedding this afternoon.
