As I’m sure you all know, each month we aggregate a list to show how other bloggers in the Dividend Investing community are CRUSHING IT! This month, one of us got excited (**cough cough Lanny**) and set a record for a number of bloggers included in this list. It blew April’s bloggers summary out of the water! Time to brew up a cup of coffee (maybe Starbucks) and get ready to check out some results! See our May Dividend Income summary from the blogging community.

5 Reasons I Am in No Hurry to Buy a House
My fiance and I have been joking around about this (well, mostly me) recently. When you talk about your wedding with your friends and family, there seems to be three questions that always enter the conversation. Where is your honeymoon? When are you having a baby? And when are you going to buy a house? I love the questions and have a great time talking about them. I just think it is funny how they always seem to come up! I’m sure most of you out there that have gotten married know exactly what I am talking about. The first two are easy answers, and unlike DivHut, you won’t be reading about a Baby Diplomat dividend growth investing fund anytime soon. But more importantly, this last purchase helped me accomplish/defeat on of my 2015 investing goals! Let’s see which goal I conquered and how I was able to do so in the first nine months of the year.

They are in no particular order and if we inadvertently omitted our income summary, please share your results in the comments section and we will do our best to include you going forward. July was a huge month for the two of us, so let’s see if the dividend investing community shared similar successes!
Bert’s July Dividend Income Summary
Man, talk about tough acts to follow. Lanny had one heck month hauling in a crazy $740 in dividend income during this “off” month. Congrats on the great month Lanny! With figures like that, I am setting myself up for yet another defeat in July, which makes perfect sense considering his portfolio is nearly triple the size of mine. However, I have one glimmer of hope this month that can catapult me to fictitious victory over Lanny. What is it? I own more shares of Kraft than Lanny. The question is, will this one-time special dividend be enough to push my dividend income for the month over $740. Let’s find out!
