Bert’s Recent Buy – Target (TGT)

I just couldn’t sit on the sideline any longer.  For those of you that have followed our blog over the last month, you would have realized that there was one stock I have been fixated on…Target (TGT).  It was the number 1 stock on my June watch list for a reason.  Over the month, I was patiently waited for the right moment to strike.  When I went to buy, the stock price increased.  When I wasn’t able t access the internet to actually purchase the stock, the price fell.   Finally, the stars aligned as the markets had two terrible days after the Brexit situation.   Time to check out why and most importantly, how much TGT stock I purchased this week!

Lanny’s Recent Purchase – Target (TGT)

We all knew I couldn’t wait too much longer to make a purchase.  The stock market has continued it’s wild trajectory, but I was able to strike a big name company when they were starting to climb back up.  Yes, I was able to shoot my bow and arrow at the “Red Bullseye” in one of everyone’s favorite US retailers in Target corporation (TGT).  Very excited and let’s find out why I bought it, the price points and the metrics!

Dividend Diplomats Recent Buy – CZNC

The Dividend Diplomats were back at it again!  Yes, both of us purchased the same company approximately two weeks ago and we wanted to share the purchase article with you.  And yes, this is the second time we have both purchased a stock at the same time in 2016.   Due to both of being busy with work, traveling, vacations, festivity planning, etc.. we were taken away from writing this article closer to the date of the stock purchases we made.  Given that we are both Financial Institution auditors, we purchased a bank that is already friendly in our portfolio – Citizens & Northern (CZNC).  Time to cash in those checks for stock! Bert’s March Dividend Income Summary

No everyone, this is not an elaborate April Fools joke.  I am actually posting my dividend income article before Lanny this month.  Somehow, some way, he has always managed to publish his article first.  Well not so fast my friend!  I am ready to roll here and review my March dividend income.   The final month of every quarter is always my favorite because a large percentage of companies pay their dividend in this month, so each day is action packed.    It really makes each day exciting!  Let’s take a look and see how much dividend income I received this year and how it compares to the same month last year.

Dividend Diplomats Recent Buy – T. Rowe (TROW)

The Diplomats were back and at it again!  Loving the end of February, the turmoil and the continuous short-term declines in the market that unlocks opportunity in just a blink of an eye.  We were on the hot seat this week, and boy did we take some advantage of market fluctuations.  Wednesday was a well placed trade on a wonderful asset management company – T. Rowe Price (TROW).  Let’s see how, when and what led the purchase by both of us!

Lanny’s Recent Purchase – ADM (x2)

Well, well, well.  Hold on tight.  The stock market may as well be considered big red, because that’s the only color we have been seeing as of late.  And, I made another purchase.  A very familiar one as you can see by the title.  It’s been a very confusing blood bath out there, as I like to call it.  This has made my stomach drop everyday.  Everyday, only because I wish I had $30K in cash ready to just fire away at the market.  It’s incredible the, as Jim Cramer from CNBC calls it, “accidental high yielders” that are out there.  I believe Archer Daniels (ADM) to be one of them.  Fire Away!
