Good morning everyone! Hope you had a great weekend and are breathing in the spices of the Fall scented candles and are walking out to the mail box to pick up a dividend check or two. Not figuratively, but that’s what sometimes happens as a dividend investor. You wake up, sign online to your account and see businesses sending you a check for the funds you have placed in the market as their source of liquidity to operate a business. These are always fun surprises or moments each and everyday as a dividend investor, but over the last few weeks, more and more surprises and unexpected positives have come from being a dividend investor.

5 Deciding Factors on an Investment Account for our LLC
It’s been essentially a whopping 24 months since we have monetized portions of our brand and website. On top of that, our blog has been growing and we have started to earn revenue via Google Adsense and media.net advertisements. We have built a small nest egg of cash and what would we, the Dividend Diplomats, do with a nest egg? Invest in dividend paying stocks, of course! We have a solid cash position and determined it to be the right time to research, investigate and decide on the factors for the right investment account for our Limited Liability Company (LLC).
Bert’s October Stock Watch List
My last two articles have been reviewing my past performance, checking in on my goals through the end of September and reviewing my September dividend income. Both of the articles were showing that my portfolio and dividend income are trending in the right direction. With three months to spare, I’m looking to keep that momentum going. So I took some time tonight to prepare my October stock watch list and see if I can pinpoint a few stocks to keep a close eye on over the next several weeks.

Bert’s 3rd Quarter Goals Review
We are rounding third and heading home here. Considering the Cleveland Indians clinched the AL Central Division title this week, I figured a baseball reference to start the article off was pretty appropriate. Let’s see if they can capture some of the same postseason magic the Cavs had during their run in May/June. At the end of each quarter, Lanny and I review our annual goals to monitor our progress towards hitting these marks. If we are on pace…great. If we are off track, well there is still time to make some adjustments despite the fact there are only three months remaining. Time to dig and perform my third quarter goals review.
Buying Dividend Stocks to Pay Bills
Hey everyone! Every month, we live in a world that we pay for our expenses on a typical monthly basis. Most people budget monthly based on their food, shelter, car and other entertainment or daily needs. You know what I personally love about my bills? If something else is paying them for me! One fun way and reason to invest into dividend paying stocks, is to almost view them as a way to build up an asset that pays these bills for you! What do I mean? Let’s check it out.

Bert’s August Stock Watch List
Earlier in the week, I crossed a big investing milestone….crossing $3,000 in forward dividend income. It took me 15 months to jump from $2,000 to $3,000 and at the end of the article, I challenged myself to hit the next milestone in half the time. To get there, I better get moving quickly. What’s the best way to increase your dividend income? Not a trick question here, but purchase stock! I thought it would be a good idea to do some research this evening and put together a small watch list of stocks that have caught my eye. Here it is, my August stock watch list.
Why I Don’t Time or Predict the Market
One can never predict the market. That is one fact that we know about the stock market. Not one individual knows what the price will close on for any given day, for any given stock. I read an article the other day and it made me smirk – there has never been one person to buy a stock at it’s absolute lowest point only to sell it at it’s absolute highest point. This is why I don’t try to time or predict the market.
