I have been compiling some cash recently and had enough to establish a great entry-level position in a company. Over the last few months, there have been many events impacting the market and pushing the price of some great companies lower and lower. So I wanted to make this purchase count and pick up a rock-solid dividend paying stock, one that I now think should be included on Lanny’s infamous foundation stock listing. Unfortunately, the title gave it away. See why I decided to invest in Emerson Electric this week.

Expected Dividend Increases in July 2015
Holy cow everyone, time has flown by! I can’t believe we are flying through July already. Before it is too late and we are already looking ahead to August, I wanted to continue our monthly series of Dividend Aristocrats that are expected to announce each month. Let’s take a look at which Aristocrats are expected that are set to increase their dividend in July 2015!
Mr. Market taking a Turn
Good old Mr. Market. It has been an interesting last week plus, given the overall market condition lately. Greece did not make their debt payment and it felt like the whole stock world shook from the news, as well as other macro events. Thought I do enjoy seeing what is happening from this level, I enjoy it even more when my favorite dividend stocks become discounted throughout the process, yes, yes, even European and Oil companies included. Lanny’s April Dividend Income
As time passes, so does a month of collecting dividend income. Four wild months are already in the books and the sun is shining here in Cleveland. Talk about a rarity these days. Another month down in the dividend income books. Monthly I will evaluate and show the results of which companies paid dividends, progress towards the year and comparison to the past. This is a great way to track my dividends to see if I’m on pace for financial freedom. We are changing it up going forward to have both Bert & Lanny’s dividend income summary into one post – to save on postings/focus for the month. This hopefully allows readers to also track and compare Lanny vs. Bert and who is dominating who in the dividend income playing field, isn’t that right BERT?! Now onto our November dividend income results! Time to step up to the plate
Lanny’s July Dividend Income
Now that the hot month of July is coming to a close here in a few days, it’s time to reflect on the past month production from purchases and decisions you make within your investment portfolio. The production being… DIVIDENDS. You make decisions based on your analysis to purchase a stock (at least for our scenarios) to receive projected/estimated/declared future dividends. July was another solid month, let’s see if I crossed the triple digits this month:
