August is already in the midst of wrapping up and I have tallied my dividend income total for the month. Again, not a typically high month for me as a dividend income investor, but everything has been truly phenomenal and I am grateful for any dollar that I receive for efforts that I had placed in the past. That’s what the journey is about, to start seeing the fruit from the seeds being planted, weeks, months and years ago. August, thank you – let’s see what you brought in from the patch.

Walt Disney Co. (DIS) Stock Analysis
What a great time to come out with a dividend stock analysis, with the market taking a burn down, AGAIN. This has allowed other stocks to pop up on the radar and intrigues me to dig a little deeper on a few stocks. This time – we are going coast to coast, from country to country and I am getting geared up to have a nice little Fantasia on what Disney is all about. We all grew up watching Mickey, Minnie, Donald and the gang as a kid, now time to look at them again as an adult or a dividend stock investor. Let’s see what magic we can find here!
Lanny’s Recent Purchase – EMR
Well.. the market keeps saying- buy me, buy me, and there are opportune stocks everywhere at the moment, in my book. I took advantage of a recent price slide on a stock that many have been purchasing over the last month, including the one and only – Bert. I took a page out of his book and couldn’t be more thankful that he founded them in his screener and made my life a little easier. Thanks again Bert for doing that, I appreciate it. I had capital that finally was able to transfer over, now let’s see who, how much and why I bought this stock.
Lanny’s Income & Expense Summary – May, June & July
Remember when we had those posts regarding income and expense summaries? Well.. I’ll be damned if I didn’t realize I haven’t posted about this since the summary for April 2015. Aka – more than 3 months have passed that I haven’t showed any results from the income and expense summary side of my life. I haven’t shown how I am able to fund my investment purchases, how I’ve been able to balance both living and ht epursuit of financial freedom, as well as – achieving the 60% savings challenge. I’m Back and ready to bring it! This is the summary for 3 months that were missed – May, June and July.

Dividend Diplomats 5 Important Money Lessons
One of the foundations that we have built our website on is the importance of investing in dividend paying stocks at a young age to maximize the power of compounding dividends.
