Lanny’s Recent Stock Purchase – W.W. Grainger, Inc. (GWW)

Closing out the April month on a high note!  I have deployed more capital into a dividend aristocrat, as the stock price was falling down, a dividend increase was coming up and the timing was too tempting for me to sit on the sidelines.  This marks the 5th individual stock purchase this year and the second in April alone.  Feels great being in the driver’s seat, in my own lane on the highway to financial freedom!  Come check out the purchase of W. W. Grainger, Inc. (GWW)!

Lanny’s Q1 2017 Goals Update

Spring time is in the air and  Easter has now been celebrated.  Busy season is over, the snow is melted and the NBA playoffs have started.  Baseball season is underway and the Cleveland Browns still have no idea what’s going on.  I set my goals earlier on and it’s time to check back in after a rough few months to see how I am doing.  Time to check in after 90 days of the pursuit of 2017’s goals, which is hopefully propelling and pushing 2018 soon-to-be goals to new levels.   Continue reading

Lanny’s March Dividend Income Summary

Quarter 1 of 2017 is now officially int he books!  Here we go, the music starts, the sun is brighter and I am feeling better/more rested each day.  What else does this mean for, more specifically, US dividend income investors?  The biggest month worth of paydays has finished and I can only hope the community feels the same.  Did we set records?  Did we reach expectations or did we learn something that we can create growth from?  Time will tell when we are able to review all of the articles being released, but I am very pleased with how March ended from a dividend income stand point.  Let’s dive into the results!

Lanny’s Recent Stock Purchase – CVS Health Corp. (CVS)

Wow, wow.  So it’s been over two months and I have definitely found a stock that fit the metrics of an undervalued dividend stock investment.  It took some thorough research and thinking about the companies that many people take part in every single day or have made them a part of their lives.  With healthcare and prescriptions, this led me to this stock and this company shows high signs of undervaluation.  Come check out what company I purchased stock into and why!

Idle Cash Sitting Under the Couch Cushion

The title alone to the article makes me mad!  It has been over 2 straight months of no additional stock or investment purchase and it is very puzzling but easy to understand why at the same time.  Each stock I analyze either has a just a tad high price to earnings ratio, or the debt I am considering to pay down just doesn’t make as much sense based on the pure numbers.  What’s a guy to do?  See why I am sitting on Idle Cash and it’s building under the cushion of my couch at this moment!  Plus – see potential ideas/moves for the idle cash I have.

Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) Dividend Stock Analysis

Whoa!  Shaking off the cobwebs on  my full-on dividend stock analysis skills here.  It’s been quite some time since I’ve independently wrote an article on one dividend stock out there.  Given that my busy season has wound down, I though tit would be a great time to shake the rust and really dive into a company that I not only own, but is a highly visible company in the market place.  With the tides in the market thus far this year, the increase of rates, the election, etc.. the stock market has never been so unpredictable.  With that, we need to have a sense of security to the cash we have saved in order to deploy the appropriate capital to a company.  In terms of security – here is dividend stock that is of high quality as it relates to network and data security… Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO).
