Ah.. Mid-February. The markets have been on another Cedar fair’s rollercoaster ride and we’ve been buckled in feeling the stomach drop… while going through winters that are warm with no a sign of snow to the normal brutal Cleveland winter of a “snowmagheddon” for a great way to put it. With the market “swoons” we all sign into our brokerage accounts to see what our balance is, what dividends have been received and what new stocks have popped on our watch list. Then it hit me – what about doing a brokerage service stock analysis? We are due to write one and this one felt… right. To the analysis my friends.

Target (TGT) Stock Analysis
Just in time for Christmas eh? As everyone is performing the mad dash to the stores – we all know who is always there for them… the big red bullseye. For those last minute gift ideas, wrapping paper, clothes and even groceries – Target is there for consumers, and I would have to admit, typically at a higher quality as well. I wanted to perform a stock analysis on the company, as I feel there are a high quality, fundamentally sound entity, where so many of my loved ones and close friends shop there. Time to perform our analysis!
Realty Income (O) Stock Analysis
I have a little capital to invest over the next few weeks and I am looking to make a splash with my next purchase. It has been a few weeks since I purchased my last stock and I am starting to get the itch to invest again. I still have just under $200 to go to achieve my goal of reaching $2,750 in projected dividend income by the end of the year, so I want my next purchase to count. Don’t worry everyone, I’m not chasing yield, I’ve learned that lesson the hard way. My focus is shifting to a company that I am shocked is not in my portfolio by now and I may be the only investor in the dividend growth investing community to not own this stock. It is time to run Realty Income through the Dividend Diplomats’ Stock Screener.
Seagate Technologies (STX) Stock Analysis
Now seems to be a pretty good time to perform a stock analysis as we approach the middle of the month! We have had ups and downs within the Market and it really can’t decide which way it truly wants to go. With interest rates remaining on hold (thanks Fed… – was really hoping for a bigger discount, kidding!), the market has been a tick upwards over the last 1-2 weeks. I wanted to hop into a sector and stock that has been beaten down this year with what is perceived to be sound dividend metrics. How about the technology sector? Seagate Technologies (STX) – you are up!
Procter & Gamble (PG) Stock Analysis
It’s close to the middle of the month and the market has still been extremely volatile. With that, I know that opportunities are out there, wonderful opportunities, especially dividend stocks that are aristocrats. Yields are looking fairly unusually high for a few of the aristocrats that do not historically have them at these levels. This makes us all extremely motivated and excited investors as our dividends are reinvested at better valuations and also opens up the table for buying potential! With that, we will analyze one of the dividend aristocrats in Procter & Gamble or PG.
Walt Disney Co. (DIS) Stock Analysis
What a great time to come out with a dividend stock analysis, with the market taking a burn down, AGAIN. This has allowed other stocks to pop up on the radar and intrigues me to dig a little deeper on a few stocks. This time – we are going coast to coast, from country to country and I am getting geared up to have a nice little Fantasia on what Disney is all about. We all grew up watching Mickey, Minnie, Donald and the gang as a kid, now time to look at them again as an adult or a dividend stock investor. Let’s see what magic we can find here!
Emerson Electric (EMR) Stock Analysis
What a month it has been for the market and it seems like every day there was a development that caused the stock market to toss and turn. Heck, the turbulent market allowed the two of us to purchase shares of Norfolk Southern Corporation and Lanny to continue to decrease his average cost basis per share in Canadian Imperial. The buying hasn’t stopped with us, as many other dividend growth investors in the community have purchased some solid companies as well. Through all of this, one Dividend Aristocrat’s stock price continues to fall (Down 13.4% YTD!) and pop up on my personal stock screener. So I thought “why not analyze the company to see if I should use my excess capital to purchase shares?” Now, it is time to put Emerson Electric (EMR) through the Dividend Diplomats’ Stock Screener!
