With 2015 approaching, I wanted to formally put together my goals for the next year. Ever since Lanny wrote about his goals last month, I have been hard at work thinking about my goals. What I like/respected the most from Lanny’s set of goals were that they were very challenging and well-rounded, containing both investing and life goals. It reminds me that while I should be focused on growing my portfolio and sprinting towards financial freedom, you still can’t forget about your life and building those memories that you will tell your kids and grandkids about. I should achieve this balance in 2015, so lets take a look at my goals for the year!

Recent Buy – IBM
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This is my favorite holiday of the year. We relax, spend time with our loved ones, share stories of the last year, eat a ton of food, and watch football. What’s not to love?? Anyways, I started Black Friday a little early this week. To make Lanny proud, I was shopping frugally as I added a new position in a new industry to my portfolio using a free trade from Sharebuilder! I may have joined a bandwagon, but I purchased several shares of IBM this week! Why? Let’s find out!
Bert’s September Dividend Income & Portfolio Summary
September is a great month. Summer turns to fall, football returns, baseball teams battle for their chance to continue playing baseball in October, and most importantly, most companies pay a dividend! Let’s review my portfolio and dividend income received during September.

Another month down in the dividend income books. Monthly I will evaluate and show the results of which companies paid dividends, progress towards the year and comparison to the past. Crushing $4,000 in Projected Dividend Income
I am on a mission here. It’s weird, we just transitioned our blog to a newly hosted domain site – this just helps solidify the goal myself and Bert are trying to attempt – Financial Freedom. I have started the year off with an initial dividend income projection goal of $3,200 and decided to not achieve it, but CRUSH it.
