A new month is upon us and I am eager to continue to buy stocks that make sense and add to my portfolio.  2018 has been off to a crazy start and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed following the madness of the stock market and eagerly awaiting these crazy dividend increase announcements.  The dividend growth engine has been strong post tax reform, that is for sure.  Today, I found three companies that have caught my eye.  I will be watching these three dividend stocks closely.  Here is my March Dividend Stock watch list!

January Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers!

Wow 2018 is flying by!  The two of us are bustling through our busy season and nearly two months have gone by in the blink of an eye.  In our last edition of the blogger income series, we witnessed blogger after blogger set personal records and produce insane dividend growth rates in December.  Can the community build on their December success and crush 2018?  Well, let’s hope the community can post strong dividend growth rates, as some of our favorite dividend stocks, because 2018 has been crazy so far.  Time to dive in, here is our January dividend income summary from YOU the bloggers.

Bert’s January Dividend Income Summary

The calendar has turned and we are off to the races in 2018.  It has busy month and our busy season has been intense.  But that hasn’t stopped us from closely monitoring our portfolios and the excitement that is happening in the stock market.   We all finished December strong and as a community 39 of us were able to receive of $30,000 of dividend income.  It was a record-setting month for a lot of us, including myself.  And now that 2018 has started, it is time to keep the momentum going.  With one month down, I thought it would be as good as a time as ever to publish my first dividend income summary of 2018.  Time to check out my January dividend income summary!

December Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers!

Happy New Year’s Dividend Investing Community!  Wow, what a year it was.  November’s dividend income from the bloggers totaled 50 bloggers with over $17,000 divvies coming in.  The results were very impressive and the community has shown no signs of slowing down.  However, with one month left and big dividend payers coming in the last month of the year – can we set new records?  Did Santa bring gifts this year for the community?  Time to grab the hot cup of coffee, get comfortable and read about the December dividend income results from YOU the bloggers!

Recent Buy – Realty Income (O)

After a record December, I was looking to start 2018 off on an aggressive note.  I play to push my limits in 2018 and hopefully provide a lot of fuel to my investment portfolio.   Despite the fact that the market has also started off on a tear, a few opportunities have presented themselves.  After watching the price of REITs such as Realty Income and HCP (Lanny’s latest purchase) continue to fall, I knew that a purchase was inevitable.   Let’s see why I added to my position in Realty Income!

Bert’s December Dividend Income Summary

December is THE BEST month to be a dividend growth investor.  Not only is it the third month of the quarter the most popular month to pay a dividend, but December is also the month where mutual fund companies pay their capital gains distributions!  Whoo.  Lanny and I were refreshing Vanguard’s website hourly (okay, probably less frequent than that) since we were eagerly awaiting the results.  For Lanny, the results WERE INSANE as he crossed $2,000 in dividend income for the first time ever.  Lanny congratulations my man.  Just incredible!  While my portfolio is far behind his (one day I’ll catch you Lanny!), my December’s have historically been strong.  If I ever had a chance to record a record level of dividend income and beat him this month, it would be in December.  So now, let’s dive into the details and check out my December dividend income summary!

Lanny’s December Dividend Income Summary
