Lanny’s Recent Purchase – HCP
May has been a very fun month, to say the least! I’ve been a more active investor, I feel, and have made a few purchases actually. The market has been interesting lately, finally a little correction (as it so seems) is taking place and amazing bargain stocks are shedding their heads on the horizon, and damn – do I wish I had more cash sitting around! I made a purchase this month, come and check it out.
Bert’s Quarterly Goal Review
We are done with one-quarter in 2015 folks. As Lanny mentioned, time flies by! These last three months have been a whirlwind for me, personally, professionally, and investing wise. Between helping plan a wedding, working a busy season, making some stock purchases and other big decisions (you guys will know soon enough!), the first three months were a giant blur. But these are all great events and I have set myself up to have a very memorable 9 months of 2015! This year I told myself that I was going to pay closer attention to my goals to make sure that I am on target to meet the goals and that way, if I need to, I can make any necessary adjustments. Well, here we go, let’s dive into my quarterly goal review!
Lanny’s Recent Stock Purchase – CAT and HCP
I’m back at it baby! After almost a one month hiatus from buying a stock outside of my 401k
purchases through my employer, I am back on the saddle and made a few moves. The month of March has opened up great opportunities into the market place and I’m even more excited to purchase more stock in the coming days/weeks. The market from the last 5 business days of 3/2 – 3/6, has dropped almost 2 % overall and has really opened up great dividend stocks at better prices. I took advantage of a few this week, let’s take a look.

Everyone, we have a lot of catching up to do! While I have been busy as heck at work over the last couple of weeks, I have also been very busy putting some capital to work! Over the last two weeks I have purchased three stocks with an average dividend yield of 4.98%, which in total added over $75 in forward dividend income to my portfolio. Which stocks did I purchase?

Expected Dividend Increases in January
First off, Happy Holidays everyone. Regardless of which holiday you celebrate, take these few weeks to spend as much time with your family, share as many stories as possible, and create life long memories! Once again, the calendar is turning and a new set of Dividend Aristocrats are getting ready to announced dividend increases. So let’s take a look at which Aristocrats announced dividend increases in December and which Aristocrats are expected to announce dividend increases in January.
