What a month it’s been. It’s been a great month – definitely on the cold side, but by far the fastest passing month that I can remember in quite some time. I am just about 4 months into my new career, recently got married and set a new October Dividend Income record! What’s not to love? Whirlwind, yes, but a successful month? Without a doubt. Consistently investing in the sporadic market has kept the portfolio moving in the right direction. Let’s check out the results.

Fall is here, the leaves are changing colors, and we are closing in on the end of a pretty darn exciting month in the market. For the first time in a while, Mr. Market experienced wild swings and presented dividend growth investors with some pretty strong opportunities. The two of us have definitely taken advantage of a few of them, that’s for sure. With the turning calendar, comes the next installment in our “Expected Dividend Increases” series! For those of you that are new to the blog, each month we summarize a listing of companies that are expected to announce dividend increases in the coming month. Since we love following each company’s dividend increase closely, we thought we would share some of the excitement with you. Man oh man has the fourth quarter started off with a bang! Mr. Market has been pretty volatile and the interest rate environment continues to rise. Plenty of bloggers took advantage of the recent swings and added nice chunks of change to their forward dividend income totals. We definitely did. But before we look too far ahead in the future, it is time for one of our favorite monthly articles to compile. Why? Because our inspiration to hustle, grind, and keep pushing towards financial freedom stems from all of you in the blogging community. That’s what makes this community so special. Bert’s October Dividend Stock Watch List
The end of 2018 is rapidly approaching. With only three months to-go, I am working hard to identify different investment opportunities. With some extra cash, I am ready to put my capital to work and increase my dividend income as much as possible before the end of the year. In this month’s edition of my dividend stock watch list, I identified four stocks that I will keep an eye on. Ironically, I actually own all four stocks on this watch list. And on top of it, each have a dividend yield greater than 3%. So a potential purchase may add quite the punch. With that in mind, let’s see which four companies made the cut for my October Dividend Stock Watch List!

Fall is in the air, postseason baseball is about to start for the Indians, the Browns won their first game since 2016, dividends continue to increase by large percentages, and we have officially entered the fourth quarter. Since it is a new month, you know what that means? It is time to summarize my dividend income from the previous month.
