Another month is in the books. We are officially rounding third and heading home in 2020. It is crazy that is the 4th quarter. September was another interesting month in the market. Finally, after months of a rising stock market, there were plenty of down days to take advantage of. Whether it was a good day or a bad day, there was one thing that remained consistent: dividend payments. We received a boatload of dividend payments in September. We were VERY close to crossing a nice milestone figure for the month.  Let’s review our dividend income summary for the month of September!

August marked a huge month on our journey towards financial freedom. We crossed a major dividend milestone. Crossing $12,000 in Dividend Income – Dividend Milestone ACHIEVED!

Dividend increases are a major foundation of our financial freedom plan. We are building our dividend income, which is the EASIEST form of passive income, to eventually cover our monthly expenses. A key piece of this strategy is investing in companies that increase their dividend. Why? We want our dividend income stream to grow! Who wants their income to remain stagnent and lose purchasing power!

That is why we are constantly monitoring our dividend stocks for dividend increase announcements. It is a hobby the two of us love and are always discussing with each other.  One day, we decided to share this exercise with ALL OF YOU.
