October Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers!

Fall never came.  Winter is here.  Guess what?  Dividends keep rolling baby!

What’s crazy is  how many stock purchases the two of us have made over the years that stemmed from an article we read on one of your websites.  We cherish this community.  Which is why we aggregate as many dividend income summary articles from around the community.  Here is the October 2019 version of the Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers series.  It is time to get motivated!

This is the page where we have listed the Dividend Blogging Community’s monthly dividend income totals over the previous month.  This is where we show the Wonderful World of Dividend Investing!

Each Dividend Blogger is on their own journey, each with a different portfolio and strategy.  For example, us Dividend Diplomats use our Dividend Diplomat Stock Screener in order to find and invest into undervalued dividend stocks.  However, the bloggers below will have their own method on how they find their next investment!  That’s the beauty in sharing everyone’s results and blog they’ve created.

We love to track our Dividend Income, but we love to read and track the progress of the Dividend Blogging Community, as each and everyone of YOU continue to inspire and spread Financial Literacy and Education!

Here are the Dividend Bloggers we are showcasing for October:

Passive Canadian Income – $502.22 –  This is how we start the party off for the month.  PCI crossed the $500 mark in an “Off month.”  There were some very strong portfolio additions during the month that fueled the dividend growth rate.  Keep on DRIPing PCI.

Money Maaster – $698.84 –  Jordan’s portfolio continues to set record highs.  Back to back months, he has logged new records as the S&P 500 continues to soar.  It is also cool seeing just how many shares you added via DRIP.

Dividend Portfolio – $3.00 –  This wasn’t a fun month for Dividend Portfolio to report, but with a new financial plan in store for 2020, we’re looking forward to seeing what Dividend Portfolio has up his sleeves.

My Financial Shape – $377 –  The passive income streams for MFS continue to grow.  Dividends represent a small chunk of the story here, as P2P lending contributes a healthy income amount as well for the MFS family.

Dividend Seedling – $8.80 –  Leep planting those seeds Seedling.  The Dividend tree will blossom one day.   That first dividend from LEG is sweet and it is one of Lanny’s recent purchases.  IT was a great time to get in before the company’s price popped!

Dividends Down Under – $721.23 –  A RECORD SETTING month for our favorite bloggers from Australia!  WAM LICs really delivered a nice punch for you and were a major reason why your dividend income reached your record levels.

Stalfare – 689 Euros –   It was an interesting month for Stalfare.  That is a strong dividend income figure for most people, but it also represents a decrease in dividend income compared to last year due to assignments of covered calls.

My Dividend Dynasty – $574.44 –  A new record for MDD in an “off month.”  That is an impressive mark and it is exciting to see you cross the $500 mark.   Those REITs had a HUGE impact on your total.  Your portfolio rebalancing is really starting to show its impact now.

Passive Cash – $9.75 –  CSCO and JPM were the two dividend pyers for Passive Cash this month.  Outside of dividend income, Passive Cash flow had a strong cash flow from the rental property this month.  Keep those multiple income streams moving PC.

Young Dividend – $1,856.75 –  Holy Freaking Cow.  If this was a record, in the month of October,  I can only imagine what your month of December is going to look like.  Your dividend income has grown LIKE CRAZY in 2019.  That’s some motivating stuff right there.

Dividend Quest – $1,015.48 –  17 companies paid Quest over $1,000 in an “Off Month.”  Now that is how you make some moves right there!  Congrats on being in the four figure club once again DQ.

Dividend Earner – $2,015 –  Time to scrape some jaws off the floor!  That is a MASSIVE haul for the month Earner.  That’s what we’re freaking talking about right there.   There have been so many impressive dividend totals so far this month, and we aren’t even halfway done with the article.

My Road to Wealth and Freedom – $2,590.78 –  Back to back bloggers topping $2,000 in dividend income.  What are we reviewing, December??   MRWF received a HUGE dividend from Bank of Nova Scotia.  That’s some commitment to one of the Big 6 right there!

Fiscal Voyage – $636.25 – You have quite the passive income building, as you also have rental income coming in like water – easy in and easy out.  Taxable income is up over 30% and your rental income is going to go up 7%+, all good things going for you.  Stay on that voyage, it’s looking nice!

Time in the Market – $230.36 – A drop from last year, due to timing of an ETF payout, but strong nonetheless.  Atlanta sounded like a great time, by the way!  Time to rally and make these last two months count, let’s get it!

Retire By 40 – $1,006 – 4 digits in an off month!  Not too many that we have here, but you brought this one in! It looks like you are on pace to really burn past your 2018 totals, congrats!

Dividend Dozer – $96.73 – SO close to $100, come on Dozer!  Further, I know your December is about to be crazy with the significant purchases you make into the Vanguard Total Stock Market (VTI) fund.  For those that aren’t sure about Vanguard – see Who & What is Vanguard?

Desi Dividend – $329.61 – Nice, solid dividend from Fundrise, I see.  Here is my review of Fundrise – the Pros & Cons.  In addition, CoreCivic (CXW) is quite interesting and have seen that name pop up often now.  For the other curious minds – this is a REIT for private prisons and detention centers.

Reverse the Crush – $33.25 – Though down this month versus prior year, you are def. up in total, year-to-date versus prior year-to-date.  In addition, I could understand trying to diversify more, especially if you no longer work there.  Based on this, we are excited to see your last two months!

Chicken Wizard – $1,535.66 – 28 payments and you are up almost 10% from last year.  Holy cow.  This is an off-month, CW!  You’re making us all look bad!  Joking, joking.  Keep killing it and stay consistent with that portfolio, that WhiteHorse (WHF) dividend is massive.

Broke Investor – $30.13 – Nice work and cool trip to Netherlands, it sounds.  Every company you own, either my wife and I own, including Eastman (EMN) and Illinois Tool Works (ITW).  Love them and their dividend increases, no doubt!

Get Rich Brothers – $503.64 – There we go and I see you brought in quite a bit from the beloved Canadian Banks – such as – Toronto Dominion (TD), Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) and Canadian Imperial (CM).  Looking forward to you crossing $5k year-to-date by the end of the year!

A Frugal Family’s Journey – $274.02 – That Comcast (CMCSA) dividend is huge!  I hope they keep increasing their dividend at the same rate they have been.  A fairly good list of companies you own, 11, with a few long-term dividend payers.

Happy, Healthy & Wealthy Girl – $597.99 – Getting closer and closer to $1K.  You’ve got this!!

Tawcan – $2,112.71 – Over 30% growth and earning over $2.1k, inspiring!  Additionally, I see you benefited from Visa (V) and are enjoying that 20% dividend increase, I def. am!  If you keep this growth up, are you going to be looking at >$30K in dividends next year?  Yikes, wow!

DivHut – $1,070.92 – 71% increase from last year… no big deal right?  WOW, are you kidding me?  Glad we share Philip Morris (PM) and that they’ve been able to stay out of the news, from a negativity standpoint.  I also like your different insurance plays, such as Chubb (CB), as you don’t see them in investor’s profiles too often.  Keep it going!

Mr. Free @ 33 – $926.49 – 10.9% growth rate and 33 companies make up that total, which is utterly insane!  As low as $3.81 from Genuine Parts (GPC) up to $117 from Philip Morris (PM) pays you, therefore – the range is quite extensive.  In addition, there are quite a few names that we don’t traditionally see, such as South Jersey Industries (SJI) and Albemarle Corporation (ALB).  Will have to look into those, for sure!

Dividend Swan – $192.64 – Almost $200.  A long list of companies, including owning Dr. Pepper/Keurig (KDP).  That’s a name that really has created a need to how we consume coffee, so wild!  Keep it up, you have an incredible list of dividend paying companies that will continue to grow for years to come.

Dividend Dream – $45 – A few big dividend payers with Coke (KO), Philip Morris (PM) and Realty Income (O).  $100 this time, next year, is the new target!

Dividend Pig – $766.85 – I think I see 5+ aristocrats in there, including Illinois Tool Works (ITW).  Further, a 20% dividend growth rate from last year is epic and you’ll be sure to cross $1,000 next year with additional capital, increases and reinvestment.

Pollies Dividend – $112.73 – A 10.41% increase and the focus of your portfolio is awesome.  Further, I see you own Franklin Resources (BEN) and I am curious on what they do as an investment management firm going forward.  Keep on writing and investing PD!

Snug Fortune – $51.70 – Love the JPMorgan (JPM) ownership, especially after they juiced their dividend recently by 12%+!  Keep it up Snug!

Dividends and Hobbies – $659.82 – That New Residential Investment Corp (NRZ) dividend is HUGE, at over $200+!  That Altria (MO) dividend is right behind.  See if you can beef up other positions to diversify the dividend income some.  Looking forward to seeing you have $10K in forward dividend income soon.

I Want Dividend – $228.69 – I like seeing how you list it in $ order.  I see many of you own Coke (KO).  Since I own Pepsi (PEP), I have always debated adding the iconic bottle shaped beverage company!

Dividend for Life – $60.83 – Pretty cool chart!  Also, I see you also own JPMorgan (JPM), I see a trend… further – love the Medical Properties (MPW) dividend as well, as I own it, call me biased!

Dividend Gremlin – $128.98 – I hope everything is going well with your daughter, we will keep you and the family in our prayers.  Everyone reading this, please say a prayer!

Dividend Snail – $360.08 – Everything is higher than last year, each company that you own is better!  A solid 23% increase is nothing to scoff at.  Excited to see how you finish the year out!

Dividend Growth Journey – $100.98 –  Take a step back.  Your income jumped from $14 last year to over $100 in 2019.  Now that is some freaking impressive growth right there!

Kody Dividend – $41.91 –  Take that 24% YOY growth rate all day Kody!  Congrats on increasing and maximizing your money this last month.

Passive Income Pursuit – $479.95 –  Earning money while you are sleeping.  You hit the nail right on the head JC.  Love that you are closing on on $500 in an “off” month as well.

Engineering Dividends – $618.50 –  It is very impressive that your “Lowest” total of the year is STILL over $600 in a month.  Those were some impressive names that paid you a dividend this month.   Of your Top 3, only ITW is a shared holding.

Divcome – $182.37 –  30% growth spread across many great dividend paying companies.  Way to be Divcome!  Keep up the strong work.

Total:  42 Bloggers Received $24,477.08 in Dividends in October (depending on the exchange rate used at the time of the calculation).

  1. Lanny and Bert, thanks for the inclusion and the great list.
It’s crazy to see all these great people in the community grow their number every year. We’re almost into December and I’m real excited to see how big those numbers look as all those big end of year ETF payouts will be huge for everyone!

  2. Thanks again for including me and man is it great to see the progress that everyone’s making. That average creeping up to near $600 is awesome! 2 more months left and I’m sure December is going to be huge for everyone. $40k for the cohort? $50k?

  3. Thanks for including me – and congrats to everyone else.

There are a few new names on this list I’ll need to check out. I also love how you guys include people from all different stages, some people with under 10 bucks a month in dividend income, and others with over 1000. The best part is – everyone is as equally excited when those dividends hit their account!

  4. Hey guys,

Appreciate being included. Thanks so much!

Awesome to see the community putting up such huge numbers. Dreams are coming true in real-time. Life-changing stuff. 🙂

    Best regards.

  5. Thanks for the inclusion and your astute observation about my (hopefully) big upcoming December! Congrats to everyone on here. And thanks for doing this list – such a good resource for inspiration and ideas.

  6. Thank you for including me guys!
It’s a list of people with different backgrounds, different stages, different nations.
    Many different aspects, approaches, etc.
However, the mindset is similar: We’re all taking action today to have more freedom/independence tomorrow.
    Keep it up!

  7. Thanks for including me in the list – first time round and hopefully many more.
Congrats to everyone else. This community is just amazing and so motivating. Whether a small or big paycheque every month, the growth year-over-year is really pushing one to keep on saving and investing.

    • DGJ – The first of many inclusions right here! This community has helped us stay focused on the end game. So many great minds all focused on the same goal. The success of others is infectious too.

      Bert

  8. THAT‘S ???? A ???? LOT ???? OF ???? FREAKING ???? DIVIDENDS!! Way to go everybody – when are some of these companies going to create a Dividend Diplomats board seat for the job they do firing up this community? Just keep the divvy increases going!

    Cheers,
    -Divcome

  9. Thanks for including me on the list, not to mention compiling it month in and month out. A near $600 average among the community for a month that is typically our slowest is pretty damn impressive. Keep it up everyone!

  10. Thanks for including me again those numbers will climb just have to get a nice day to buy and pull the trigger. other stocks have caught my eye right now. great job everyone. Dont want small dividends LOL.

  11. Hi guys,
Wow al those dividends. I really like this kind of article it shows that dividend investors are not as rare as it seems. Most of my friends still prefer to spend all their money instead of saving a bit.

    Cheers,
    TLTI

    • TLTI –

SO many dividends. It’s wild.. all the spending that happens, more than what comes in or hitting that ceiling, nonetheless. I wish so bad financial literacy, budgeting and planning was a consistent topic, lesson, class from age 5 through 22. Agh.

      -Lanny

  12. The list keeps getting longer and longer. That’s amazing. This month was pretty good to me too, 723 USD in total for November which means the goal of 3500 USD is reached.
