Another month has passed by and you know what that means…time to check out how well us and others in the community performed in December. This is our favorite month to receive dividends since we get those massive (hopefully) capital gains distributions from our mutual funds. So we are expecting to see many records here folks! Let’s have a look at DEcember’s dividend income summary from YOU the bloggers! Each name has a link to each blogger’s respective income article, so please click the link if you want to read about their month in great detail.
Capital Dividend – $285.71 – NICE! I see you made some big moves Capitain, ay ay Matee! Nice dividend growth from prior year and your total growth of 2015 vs 2014 overall of 32% is astounding! As you said it – the growth rate as a percentage may be smaller than 2014 from 2013, but the $ is much bigger. Great finish!
Two Investing – $483.47 – Whoa, whoa, OKAY, Okay. I see ADM, AFL, EMR, JNJ, KO and TGT in there. AKA some big dividend aristocrats, some that us Diplomats love. Heck, that covers Bert’s watch list and the majority of his five “Always Buy” stocks. Great overall spread as well across quite a few companies, and great triple digit $ growth from last year this month. You are poised to a great 2016 for sure.
IWTRS (I Want to Retire Soon) – $129.95 – Guess what? So do we. Guess who is on track to retire soon? YOU. Boom. That’s all I have to say. Keep it up, make it happen and don’t look back.
MDP My Dividend Pipeline – $931.67 – Damn. Wow. You may have had a drop, but that is still a mass amount of cash coming in. Don’t worry, 2016 will be your year. It’ll be okay.
DivHut – $509.69 – WHOA!!! A 54% increase in total for the year versus 2014. Congratulations DivHut, great year overall. Additionally, you had increases across the board for December, perfect. I see you had a lot from Aflac (AFL) – love them right now at their valuation and as an aristocrat, is hard to beat. Keep it up into 2016.
Div4Son – $403 – Capping off an impressive first year Div4Son set a new record in terms of dividend income and just crushed it in December. This story is really fun to follow as his dividend income is growing at an INSANE growth rate. Can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store for you!
Dividend Hawk – $1,459.28 – Holy Smokes! Great freaking month Dividend Hawk! Your monthly income report has represented our various “Top 5” stock lists as we see many of the names that have appeared on our screeners over the years. Those are some impressive, strong companies that will just be pumping out dividend income for years to come.
Dividend Hustler – $2,867 – The man, the myth, the legend….Ty once again KILLED it in December, receiving just shy of $3,000 in dividend income. The best part is that Ty just barely crossed the mark of receiving $30,000 in dividend income since his portfolio’s inception. Congrats Ty! The best part is that he is already making moves in 2016 and I can’t wait to see where this number is at the same time next year.
Dividend Beginner – $92.01 – Wow! So close to topping $100 in dividend income received in your first year of investing. Great month Beginner! Relatively new to the dividend investing game, Beginner is making moves in year one and is setting the table for his future. Just wait till the power of re-invested dividends arrives and begins to take over.
Vivianne @Well Rounded Investor – $642.13 – Bottom line…a no-nonsense month right here as Vivianne took care of business. There is one impressive nugget from Vivianne’s article, her dividend’s covered 47.7% of her expenses in December. That’s a difference maker right there and shows that she is nearly half way towards achieving financial freedom! One of the many reasons that we strive to save 60% of our income here (with varying degrees of success).
Cheesy Finance – 365 Euroes or $398 – Another website that shows exponential dividend growth. Another example of a dividend investor setting the table for financial freedom. A fun blog that we have stumbled on and started visiting regularly recently!
Investment Hunting – $690.77 – Finishing out the year strong, IH set a new record in terms of dividend income received. Check out the name of the companies listed in the article, those are some solid foundation stocks to build a dividend portfolio on. Way to finish 2015 in style!
The Two of Us – In December, Bert received $1,103 in dividend income and Lanny received $1,708 in dividend income. It is always fun when the two of us have a close competition and it provides for a great month of smack talking each other!
We say this every time, but man there is some impressive dividend income in this article! Everyone in this online community are accomplishing great things and setting the table for financial freedom. 2015 was a great year and it seems that we all took care of business and pushed ourselves to invest as much as possible to get the dividend snowball rolling at a young age! So everyone, LET’S GO and push ourselves even harder in 2016. For every record you set, let’s aim to break it once again!
