With the weight of my portfolio being fairly little in technology or technological infrastructure, outside of Intel (INTC), I ended up purchasing a legacy tech stock in International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) back in October. Given that it has remain unchanged and that I have little presence in this arena – in regards to information technology services, as that is a different ball game, I chose to do a detailed IBM stock analysis this week! We shall see if it comes through our metrics we like to see and could be up for a potential purchase.

Mattel Stock Analysis (MAT) – Updated!
With the upcoming quarterly earnings release amongst us on Thursday, I wanted to dive back into Mattel, talk about what the press is discussion, see what happened from my first analysis on Mattel, as well as the items I am looking for. As we all know, the market has taken a beating as of late, which has pushed prices lower, thus allowing me/pushing me to dive into another Mattel Stock Analysis to see what has changed.
Ford Stock Analysis (F)
Ford (F) has been a staple in the American automobile industry since the automobile’s infant stage. The Model T was at the forefront of the revolution that helped bring the automobile to the eager middle class. Both Ford and the industry have changed since the release of the Model T as consumers are presented with endless brands, options, customized features, and so on. Pepsico (Pepsi) Stock Analysis
Pepsico’s (“Pepsi”) large brand portfolio can be found can be found in almost all grocery stores, convenience stores, stadiums, homes, etc. You get the picture. This brand is iconic. What else is great about Pepsi? It is a strong dividend growth stock with a long history of paying a dividend. While it is not quite an Aristocrat, Pepsi can be found in many dividend growth investors’ portfolios (including Lanny’s). Consolidated Edison (ED) Stock Analysis
Currently, utilities are known for their strong dividend paying ability. Almost as if they are a fixed income producing asset. This leads me into the one dividend aristocrat that catches my eye – Consolidated Edison.
I am a huge history guy and love the wealth that was created from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Thomas Edison definitely was a founding father of this old wealth that continues to transpire and “light” our economy today. I understand utilities, I know how they physically work and I know what benefit and value it provides: Providing energy to fuel the day-to-day of operations. Let’s think big businesses, industries, etc., all the way to our entertainment platforms and this stems into our very own households. American Express (AXP) Stock Analysis
Visa isn’t the only dividend paying stock you know? While V is a holding in many dividend growth investors’ portfolios, I wanted to take a look at an alternative option to see if the grass is possible greener elsewhere. It is time to roll up our sleeves, pull our AMEX card our of our wallet, and analyze American Express Company (AXP) .
Diageo (DEO) Stock Analysis
Who owns the No.1 in: Scotch Whiskey, Canadian Whiskey, Premium Vodka, Liqueur, Gin & Stout in the world? Ever hear of Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, Smirnoff, Baileys, Tanquerray & Guinness. We sure have and I’ve seen many friends drink these over the course of this past weekend even. And it got us Diplomats thinking… who owns these guys? I (Lanny) knew who owned Baileys and it caused the diplomats to get the coffee brewing and to crack open our research madness.
