Earlier in the year, Lanny introduced me to a new investment option.  In his effort to diversify his holdings, he was looking for an alternative to equities.  He shared Fundrise with me and like him, I really liked what I read.  So I quickly signed up to invest.  This article will discuss my Fundrise investment, the performance of the portfolio since my initial investment, and other facts about the real estate, crowdsourcing website.

Fundrise Internet Public Offering (iPO), Say What?!

As you may have read from earlier articles, Fundrise is one of the, if not biggest, real-estate crowdfunding platform for investors.  Fundrise has been around since 2012, investing over $2.5 billion into real estate.  They are the premier, real estate crowdfunding investment platform.  Recently, Fundrise has opened it’s doors for current investors on the platform on their next round of their internet public offering or iPO in their case.
