Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers! – July 2021

july dividend

July 2021 Dividend Income results are in.  August is essentially over and dividend investors are eagerly waiting September dividend income payments!  We have been through some serious volatility, with the S&P 500 OFFICIALLY crossing… 4,500+!  It is absolutely insane!  In addition, the Delta-variant to COVID-19 has been a very serious issue and the world’s concern is here, as cases and death’s march up.

However, YOU are here for dividend income results baby!  Therefore, without further-ado here is the July installment of our Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers! monthly series. Enjoy!

Dividend Hawk – $2,039.46 – Dividend Hawk crushing it in an “off” month. You read that right, Hawk earned over $2k in July! The T.Rowe Price special dividends provided you with a nice bump as well, in addition to the $150+ you received from Altria. A very well balanced, dividend paying month!

Dividend Quest – $621.93 – You are darn right that level of dividend income is nothing to sneeze at. That is absolutely right. Two dividend payments over $100 is pretty SICK as well.

A Frugal Family’s Journey – $244.70 – AFFJ is back in the game, getting back to a regular schedule of buying dividend stocks! Comcast led the charge, by far, in terms of dividend payments for the month. They are a fantastic company in their sector!

Little Dividends – $37.03 – The Little Dividends make a huge difference and are really starting to add up. Love seeing the trend in your monthly dividend income summary. Your income grew over $7 compared to April’s total. That is a massive percent increase. Can’t wait to see October’s total.

Passive Canadian Income – $872 – Uh oh, was that a new record, in terms of the number of dividend stocks that paid you a dividend/DRIPed in July? LOVE the new positions that added huge sums of dividend income this month. Nice freaking job PCI.

Dividend Dozer – $114.61 – This was a quiet month, in a good way for Dozer. Outside of one sale, Dozer received dividends from the same companies as last year. This is a great way to show the true power of dividend reinvesting, as your income grew exclusively due to DRIP and dividend increases.

Dividend Pursuit – $361.34 – The dividends continue to grow for Dividend Pursuit. We loe that your dividends cover your monthly phone and internet bills. That’s what it is all about.

A Dividend Dream – $166 – That $90 special dividend from T.Rowe Price (TROW) sure made a difference, didn’t it?! We definitely felt the bump from that as well. Just a fantastic company that has CRUSHED it on the dividend front.

Dividend Pig – $1,301.23 – 45 companies paid Pig a dividend in July. That is an insane amount of companies for an “off” month. We are so pumped to see the results of your investment and diligence, as you received over $1,300 this month! Heck yeah.

DesiDividend – $617.65 – That 48% dividend increase is huge. Like so many, it includes the TROW special dividend, which paid you over $150 in July. Without it, YOU STILL CRUSHED IT! Congrats on the strong month as always Desi.

Dividend Growth Journey – $730.28 – The income is phenomenal. What is even better is the fact that you started picking up your long term dividend growth strategy again. You purchased 3 heavyweights (Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and Walgreens). The 3 purchases added over $111 to your forward dividend income.

Engineering Dividends – $1,247.50 – I guess great minds think alike, especially because another blogger received that TROW special dividend. Engineering Dividend received over….$350!…..INSANE. The great news didn’t stop there though. Altria, RPM, ITW, and MRK rounded out your Top 5 dividend payments received for the month.

Life with Dividends – $35.63 – The dividend income is great. Here is what is even better though. You purchased a ton of great dividend growth stocks. That’s how you dollar cost average and keep your dividend income going forward. BOOM!

Vibrant Dreamer – $797.74 –  Wow. That dividend income total continues to grow. This is by far the largest dividend income total you received this year. Nice job!

Project 2035 – $43 – Love, love, love the progress you realized this month. Your Altria dividend grew at a massive clip compared to last year (79%). Further, those 4 new dividend payments compared to last year really add up.

Chicken Wizard – $1,045.86 – Crossing the four figure mark is a huge feat Chicken Wizard. The dividend income total is great, although there are plenty of more important things to take care of as well.

Another Loonie – $621 – Best two words from AL…..NEW RECORD. Love seeing another dividend growth investor push their dividend income to new highs. That covers a huge percentage the monthly bills that you listed out!

Stalfare – 1,076 (Euros) – That represented a big 11% gain compared to last year. Gotta love the Italian championship as well. Turns out July was one heck of a month for you after all!

Kody’s Dividend – $108.30 – Another blogger setting a personal record. Love the fact that Kody crossed the three digit mark too. What jumps out is how evenly spread your dividend income is too. No one dividend stock paid too large of a dividend compared to the others.

My Road to Wealth and Freedom – $858.94 – Flexing some muscles here MRWF. That’s what we like to see. You’ll have to tip your cap to TransCanada for paying you such a large dividend.

My Dividend Snowball – $2,878.45 – Holy freaking cow Snowball. That is a fantastic month. What is even crazier is that this is a 169% increase compared to last year. Yeah, you read that right everyone. You won’t want to miss this dividend income summary.

Dividend Earner – $729 – While it looks like this was an “off” month with decreasing dividend income, Earner had several stocks that typically pay in July that paid in August this year. Can’t wait to see your August dividend income summary.

Dividends and Divergences – $34.09 – D&D received a nice early dividend from Publix, giving this month’s dividend income a nice bump. It is crazy that so many companies shifted the month they paid their dividend this quarter. Keep pushing and you’ll cross $50 soon enough.

Dividends and Hobbies – $660.57 – Altria group really smoked the rest of the competition this month for you. Wow, over $250 from MO. That helped you realize a 20% year over year dividend increase. Money in the bank.

Dividend Portfolio (Netherlands) – 141 (Euros) – Merck is a fantastic addition to your portfolio’s dividend income for the month. It is also great to see your Iron Mountain dividend nearly double as well. Some great dividend growth stocks my friend.

Root of Good – $259 – One of our favorite monthly updates to read. Outside of the dividend income summary, it is jam packed with early retirement updates and some sweet pictures. An inspiring post to say the least.

Dreaming of Dividends – $1,227 – There we go!  Another 4 digit banger here.  I really need to look at more Canadian Dividend Income stocks, such as Telus.  Great job DoD – you are surely having some nice dreams over there, seems to be working out for you.  No nightmares here!

Capturando Dividendos – $1,246.73 – Wow.  What a great month.  So many dividend aristocrats.  Medtronic (MDT), Automatic Data Processing (ADP), Genuine Parts (GPC), T. Rowe (TROW) and many other strong dividend companies.  You are doing insanely well, it’s awesome.  KEEP GOING!

Dividends From Scratch – $374.03 – Pumped you have Eastman (EMN, as we have that in my wife’s dividend account.  Cisco (CSCO) also had a solid quarter and beat estimates I believe.  Lastly, I see you have a nice dividend from Altria (MO), whom just increased their dividend approximately 5%.  We’ll take it!

More Money Guru – $2,721.34 – Almost $3k.  Insane.  Almost $3,000 in an off-month, not even a quarter-end.  Purely inspirational and it’s great to know that it’s possible for all of us to get there.  Keep it up!

Matthew Utesch – $1,222.15 – Have to love dividend increases – especially from Realty Income (O) and Leggett & Platt (LEG).  Why?  Well, both Bert and Lanny own them BUT Realty Income has been consistent and Leggett kept us on the ropes waiting.  Very exciting and great income totals!

Passive Income Pursuit – $796.67 – Whoa!  First, almost $800 in dividend income.  Second, almost $100 in added dividend income between increases, reinvestment and purchases.  Jealous of the dividend stocks from Nike (NKE), JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and Medtronic (MDT), such great dividend stocks.  Keep that portfolio strong.

Stefan Redlich – $387.10 – Nice job with the HUGE growth of over 30%+ since last year.  I like the moves you’ve been making into Medical Trust (MPW) and Store Capital (STOR).  Time for you to break the $00 and $500 dividend income mark!

Legend of Income – $234.75 – I see Simon Property (SPG) in there, nice.  I have never owned the REIT and have always debated it!  Keep buying those dividend income stocks!

Tawcan – $3,270.01 – Goodness.  Just monstrous.  So many awesome Canadian Dividend stocks.  You definitely have the best names in the business!  Excited for you to average… $5,000 per month, real financial independence type figures!  Keep inspiring!

Reinis Fischer – $26.25 – That’s a huge dividend Reinis. Just insane. I’m sure it wasn’t an easy decision to sell your stocks and start over. However, getting a rock solid dividend stock is a fantastic way to start the rebuild. Time to keep looking up and forward.

Dividends & FNB – $875.96 – Just a “small” 84% increase compared to last year.  AMAZING. What’s also great to see is that you surpassed your 2020 total dividends received amount in just the 7th month of 2021. Everything else is gravy from this point forward!

Mooi Dividend – 187.24 (Euros) – You made some major telecom moves in your portfolio, selling shares of AT&T and buying shares of China Mobile!  Continue making those moves to right your portfolio and get it matching your investment strategy.

Our Life Financial – $3,429.82 – Mic freaking drop OLF. Nothing but praise here from the two of us. We love to see the impact Canadian Banks had on your dividend income. That’s what it is all about!

Divs4Jesus – $969.50 – Two HUGE SPECIAL DIVIDENDS helped your dividend increase nearly 400% compared to last year. My freaking goodness, that’s how you watch your dividend income grow. Congrats on also receiving that first dividend payment from Cisco too.

All About The Dividends – $698.05 – Matthew, stellar results.  You keep it going and keep making it happen.  Let’s see you cross that $1,000 mark, come on!

Dividend Guy Blog – $174.39 – Not too bad for an off-month here.  Almost doubling your money from 2017 is awesome, by the way.  Can’t wait to see your article when you officially cross it!

Dividend Daddy – $4,567.99 – WOW.  Almost $5,000.  That list is insane by the way.  I see you have Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS), Shaw Communications (SJR) and other great dividend stocks.  Really impressive and can’t wait to see this over $5,000.

My Financial Shape – $330 – I see you have Coca Cola (KO), what a strong dividend king.  Also, we share a dividend stock in Total Energies (TTE), do not see that too often.  Keep investing, let’s keep each other in check!

Finance Journey – $1,760.49 – So close to $2k.  Loving that Cleveland-Ohio based KeyCorp (KEY)!  Representing OHIO Baby!  I am anxiously waiting a dividend increase from them soon. The journey to freedom is so sweet, let’s goooo!!!

Money by Ramey – $360.39 – The dividends continue to roll. The dividend income and market value charts are fantastic. It is great to see that you Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) position is over $20K! That’s why we buy the stock every week. Fantastic dividend growth stock. On top of it, your Procter & Gamble position is close behind.

Findependence Canada – $1,104.92 (CAD) – Findependence squeaked out a new personal record. This is the 4th month where you crossed the four digit dividend income mark. Like many investors this month, the Canadian Banks flexed some serious muscle for you. You know we love banks.

Investing Pursuits – $658.99 – Investing Pursuits has conducted our favorite strategy…automating investing. Instantly taking 30% off the top and investing almost all of it. We are huge advocates for automating and “setting it and forgetting it.”

Aktiekemisten – 1,527.01 SEK – Boom. A strong 199% year over year increase compared to last year. Perfect way to kick off the second half of the year.

Dividends Down Under – $0.26 – Hey, you earned over a quarter!  I know you had to sell equities to help pay for life-related items.  Looking forward to seeing you back in the saddle!

Engineer My Freedom – $155.30 – Can’t go wrong with the companies that paid you dividends with Altria Group and Realty Income.  Also – nice options strategy!

Wallet Squirrel – $52.23 – NICE!  In addition, Bert and Lanny own all 3!  That Iron Mountain (IRM) dividend is nice and the run up in their stock price has been incredible.  Love that you always reinvest earnings back into dividend stocks – such as Apple (AAPL) and Vanguard’s VNQ!  Keep writing, your blog/website is awesome!

Financially Free in 10 Years – 115.34 (Euro) – BOOM!  Crossing the $100 dividend mendoza line!  Loving it.  I hope CVS (CVS) starts to re-look at their cash flow, continues to pay down debt – as we want that dividend increase!  Come on!  Keep stacking those divvies Robot!

  3. Hi you two! Once again thanks for adding me on this great list. This also marks spending lots of this day looking into everyone’s details on this and checking out possible companies to invest in. Always so informative.

  4. Thanks again for this recap. I don’t always get to check out all the other blogs, but man is it great to see the progress everyone is making. And that’s really impressive that the average is up over $800! Things should hopefully start picking up on our side now that we’re back in the swing of work, along with our normal work income and savings ability, after the birth of our third daughter and now everyone back at school/daycare.
