Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers! – August 2021

August 2021 Dividend Income results are in.  September is essentially over and dividend investors are eagerly waiting to post their monthly dividend income payments!  We have been through some serious volatility, with the S&P 500 going from $4,500 down to the mid 4,300 range.   The markets are afraid of the Delta Variant, COVID-19 is still spreading like wild-fire and vaccination rates are still low.  Hospitalization rates are way up right now and the government may be shut down due to disagreements from the two parties, shocker, right?

However, YOU are here for dividend income results baby!  Therefore, without further-ado here is the August installment of our Dividend Income from YOU the Bloggers! monthly series. Enjoy!

Dividend Hawk – $1,585.81 – What a wild month!  Almost $2,000 in an off-month for August.  Love that you own both AT&T (T) stock and Verizon (VZ) stock.  I own both as well and have finally achieved over 100 shares.  We also just came out with a YouTube Video on Buying AT&T Stock under $28, definitely worth a look!

A Frugal Family’s Journey – $420.51 – Definitely a stronger month of dividend investing versus last month, as you are higher by $170+!  Buying dividend stocks is the name of the game and you consistently do that.  Buying more Kinder Morgan (KMI) stock?  They were recently on my dividend stock watch list as a stock to buy – which I also bought 20 shares of Kinder Morgan recently!

Passive Canadian Income – $322.99 – Your dividend income, aka your passive income stream, continues to grow!  I see your AbbVie (ABBV) stock really is benefiting from their recent dividend increase.  It’s a hot dividend stock that is hard to be, with an almost 5% yield and an above average dividend growth rate, great combination.  Also – continue to love the solar panel income you are receiving!

Dividend Dozer – $148.39 – Nice job collecting all of those dividends!  That list is solid, Hormel (HRL), Lowes (LOW) and Clorox (CL).  Keep that dividend income moving, up almost 50%!  Time to see you cross $200 this time next year.

Dividend Pursuit – $476.62 – That’s great you can break it down by what bills your dividends can cover.  Fairly nice that you can pay for your car monthly with that!

Dividend Dream – $143 – Another solid month of dividend income!  Omega (OHI), Kinder Morgan (KMI), John Deere (DE), just great dividend stocks you have paying you.  That’s the beauty of dividend investing, the growing income stream!

Engineering Dividends – $968.15 – HUGE dividend payments coming from AbbVie (ABBV), Procter & Gamble (PG) and General Dynamics (GD).  We actually just recorded a video on AbbVie – on how they could be a great dividend stock to buy now!  Keep engineering those dividends sir, you’ve got this!

Mr. Tako Escapes – $309 – While it may seem like a little for Mr. Tako, the big month will be September.  I am projecting close to $15,000 for him for September!  Keep inspiring us investors Mr. Tako!

Retire by 40 – $915 – Almost to $1,000!  Love the number and we are all learning from you on the road to financial freedom.  Thanks Joe, keep staying invested!

My Financial Shape – $152 – There you go!  I see that Apple (AAPL) dividend you received on the Apple Stock that you own.  Fairly cool you receive a dividend from Heineken – definitely think their beer is an easy one to put down and not hate the taste.  Keep rolling in the dividends!

Desidividend – $589.15 – Holy smokes, you crossed the $500 mark for August!  You also own Apple (AAPL) Stock, not to mention Starbucks (SBUX) – definitely lower yield, high dividend growth rate stocks no doubt!  In addition, I like how you track your dividend income side by side with the prior year, really showing the dividend growth.  Congrats on the 16% improvement!

All About the Dividends – $427.18 – So close to $500!  You definitely have a good combination of high yield with decent growth and low yield, with high dividend growth.  Not too often we see Texas Instruments (TXN) and Apple (AAPL) in the same portfolio!  I love it and keep it going AAtD!

My Road to Wealth & Freedom – $88.16 – Almost the triple digit mark.  I see that you own one of the big Canadian Bank stocks – Bank of Montreal (BMO).  I own quite a bit of Canadian Imperial (CM) – Canadian Dividend stocks are always hot on the dividend investor’s list!

Dividend Quest – $592.26 – The mutual funds that you own are quite interesting, definitely have a wide variety, well diversified within the equity market.

Dividends Down Under – $5.35 – Though your dividend income for August is small, you received something – which is better than nothing.  October is your big month and I know you’ll surprise all of us come fall!

My Dividend Snowball – $1,675.49 – Speaking of Canadian Banks, your Bank of Montreal (BMO) stock produced $436 in dividend income for you.  Just insane!  Surprised you sold Realty Income (O)!  That’s been a staple in many dividend investor’s portfolio, but glad you are sticking to your strategy.  Lastly, that Starbucks (SBUX) dividend is getting massive.  Congrats!

Stalflare – 1,094 (Euro) – SOLID!  Up 10%+ since last year.  The economy is definitely all over the place.  September has been fairly volatile in the stock market, definitely far different than August.  Many opportunities are out there, keep going Stalflare.

Engineer My Freedom – 104.68 (Euro) – I own 4 of the 6 dividend stocks that paid you in August!  Have to love the growing income stream, from the monthly dividend income payer of Realty Income (O).  I am impressed with the massive dividend you receive from a legacy dividend stock like Texas Instruments (TXN).

Finance Journey – $949.04 – 86% dividend growth is unreal.  Can you keep that rate going?  I think you can.  Do I see a nice Cleveland bank stock in your portfolio, KeyCorp (KEY)?!  Love the hometown bank, now that it’s massive, at over $130+ Billion in total assets.  Congrats on the dividends, you’ll crush $1,000+ this time next year.

The Dividend Guy Blog – $320.04 – Solid income results.  I love that you have two nice punches from two incredible dividend stocks.  You have Starbucks (SBUX) and Texas Instruments (TXN) – high dividend growth written all over it.

Dividend Pig – $1,959.41 – WOW.  Almost $2,000 in an off-month.  Spectacular.  A 27% increase to your dividend income is where it’s at.  Not many people get to see that, let alone in their 9-5 jobs.  I love that you have JPMorgan (JPM) Chase stock in your portfolio, I don’t see them too often for some reason.  The biggest bank in the world, whom (without the FRB) continues to fire on all cylinders.  Congrats DP, next year – $2,500?!

Project 2035 – $75 – Heck yes, closing in on $100. I see the two new dividend aristocrats in your portfolio, with Realty Income (O) and General Dynamics (GD).  I own them both and happy that I do!

Chicken Wizard – $1,350.96 – There we go CW.  That dividend income train is moving and you are easily averaging over $1,000 per month.  I like your goal of getting to $4,000; as that’s the equivalent of a lot more than $48,000, due to other tax benefits that one should consider when leaving the rate race.  I also agree – anyone can build an investment portfolio, it takes starting out and staying consistent.

Another Loonie – $621 – Very impressive!  Also, on your September article, I love how yous share which credit card you opened and how much you earn there.  Funny that there’s always a dividend growth stock there, with American Express (AXP) powering your credit card!

Kody’s Dividends – $132.66 – I really enjoy the screen shots of the dividends hitting your investment account.  Plus, you really show the transparency to your personal finances.  You also own JPMorgan Stock (JPM) and glad to see a fellow CVS Pharmacy (CVS) shareholder.  Can’t wait for CVS to increase their dividend, that’s for sure.

Dividend Earner – $4,211 – No words.  Earning this dividend income, I would be financially free.  No doubt.  Now that is passive income at it’s finest!

Dividends and Divergences – $32.40 – Love your weekly dividend posts, they are awesome.  You are putting each dollar to work and it’s sweet.  I know you’ve got a nice position going with WestRock (WRK), Kinder Morgan (KMI) and Procter & Gamble (PG).  I am right there with you!  Keep the dividend income moving in the right direction and keep investing into dividend stocks!

Dividends and Hobbies – $1,159.53 – I see you love One Main Financial (OMF), a dividend stock in the banking industry I don’t normally see.  I like it actually!  We both have hefty dividends from AT&T (T), looking forward to what actually happens come Q2 2022!  Keep it up, you are on the perfect financial path!

Dividend Portfolio (Netherlands) – 492 (Euros) – You own AbbVie (ABBV), Omega (OHI) and Verizon (VZ) – three stocks with high yields.  In fact, we definitely just released a classic video on Omega Health (OHI), as we reviewed if they are a dividend stock to buy now.

Root of Good – $217 – The methods that you have that bring income to you, is phenomenal.  You are an entrepreneur at heart and have many streams of income flowing your way.  The dividend income will continue to rise, just like everything else!  Pumped for your future articles and earnings!

Dreaming of Dividends – $781 – There we go!  Nice to see MasterCard (MA) on the list.  I own Visa (V), but these processing companies are here to stay, no doubt.

More Money Guru – $2,215.73 – What’s funny is for you this is a slow month, for others (including me), this is a SPECTACULAR month!  WOW, almost $2,500 in August.  I see that you own and earn dividends from Vici Properties (VICI).  This has been a dividend stock to buy among many dividend investors.  I think it’s time us Dividend Diplomats perform a review on them.  Thanks for sharing!

Matthew Utesch – $1,705.49 – Monster numbers here, again.  Also, great to see someone that benefited from the Clorox (CL) dividend increase.  Keep that dividend engine moving.

Passive Income Pursuit – $687.13 – Very solid.  It’s interesting, I haven’t seen too many that own the payroll service providers, but yours & others own Paychex (PAYX).  Time for me to consider them, as well, since I do not currently own one.  Hmm…

Stefan Redlich – $333 – 23% growth since last year, now that’s growing your dividend income!  Love the charts you have and glad you were buying Microsoft (MSFT) stock.  I’ve been very curious to buy Microsoft stock lately, myself.

Legend of Income – $250.36 – Nice work, over the “mendoza” line and another popular dividend stock (as of late) has been Bristol Myers (BMY).  Congrats and keep being legendary.

Tawcan – $1,776.26 – There we go, another 4 digit bagger!  Tawcan, you are blazing trails my friend.  The food pictures look amazing, too, by the way!  Nice job re-balancing/shaping your portfolio, makes sense if the stocks you own doesn’t fit your investment thesis any longer.  I recently did this to a position in September, that I’ll write about as well.  Congrats!

Reinis Fischer – $1.84 – I love the goal set for $60 next year.  LET’S GO!!!! You’ve got this, stay focused and don’t lose sight!

Dividends & FNB – $237.62 – There we go!!  Love the Toronto Dominion Bank you own, as well as Starbucks (SBUX).  I am eagerly waiting to see if Starbucks does anything further for their dividend this year.  November they may increase their dividend in that announcement.

Mooi Dividend – 77.70 (Euro) – Boom, there it is.  I see AT&T (T) in your dividend stock portfolio, as well.  Looking to see a dividend stock portfolio on who DOESN’T own them (haha)!  I see you have Synchrony Financial stock, as well.  I have always been curious on that one!

Our Life Financial – $1,206.94 – Let the dividends roll!  I agree, you should never panic and sell your stocks based on emotion.  Your dividend income stream is concentrated and focused.  Time to see you crack $2,000 next year!

Divs4Jesus – $201.95 – We share the same dividend stocks of AT&T (T), Verizon (VZ), AbbVie (ABBV); to name a few.  ANOTHER Omega (OHI) shareholder.  i dig it.  High yield, but one to monitor, to make sure a dividend cut doesn’t happen.

Dividend Daddy – $2,427.25 – What Canadian bank stock don’t you own?!  I love it!  That is my absolute favorite industry.  I hope now that the proof is in the pudding on their capital levels, the big banks can really start cranking out dividend growth for the shareholders.  Inspiring figures there, for sure!

Money By Ramey – $745.63 – Probably one of the coolest dividend income charts I’ve seen.  Apple (AAPL), Caterpillar (CAT), JPMorgan (JJPM), you name it – you have quite the diversification among different industries.  Similarly, let’s see what Exxon Mobil (XOM) will do to their dividend by the year’s end!

Findependence Canada – $671.02 – Nice job, as you are approaching $7,000 in dividends earned, year-to-date!  It looks like you should have a record breaking dividend income month, come the end of September.  Can’t wait to read and see it!

Investing Pursuits – $294.34 – A decent growth rate of over 7% from 2020.  By this point, last August was a fairly solid month to compare to 2021, as the pandemic was looking much better when Q-3 2020 was wrapping up.  I think it’s time to do a Canadian Bank dividend stock analysis, just pouring straight dividends.

Financially Free in 10 Years – $99.09 – SO SO close to $100, come on!  If only CVS Pharmacy (CVS) increased their dividend, you would have been there. Though you had a decrease in payout in 2021 vs 2020, but you never can control the payout schedule companies want to be on!  Time to consistently cross $100, you’ve got this!

Total:  47 Bloggers Received $35,250.13 in Dividends in August (depending on the exchange rate used at the time of the calculation).

The community averaged $750, on the dot, in dividend income this month! 1. Great job everyone. Yes I love OMF the regular dividend is great at .70 cents everything else is icing on the cake. If the feds had not allowed the big banks to raise this year I was tempted to sell BAC and put half it on OMF. Thanks for including me again.

  2. Amazing job everyone! And you all are proof that if you stick with this, you will end up being able to live on your passive income someday. See, I REALLY love spending money. A lot… But if I send a good chunk of it on buying shares first, I have less to spend on buying vinyl records! So if I can do this, anyone can. And it gets easier month by month.
Thanks for including me on this Lanny and Bert! I’m about 6 weeks from making a GIANT splash in the market.
