February Dividend Income From YOU the Bloggers!

The hustle and grind continues everyone!  January and February were incredible months for dividend investors as a lot of companies decided to provide their shareholders with a nice dividend increase.  Even though those results weren’t reflected yet in each blogger’s dividend income summary, that didn’t stop so many of you from posting incredible results during the shortest month of the year.   Here is the latest installment of our Dividend Income from YOU the Blogger’s series!

Wallet Squirrel – $25.34 – Nice job WS!  Also, what’s impressive is your other sources of income that pops into that wallet of yours, as the dividend income is only a small part of it.

A Frugal Family’s Journey – $243.06 – 10 companies and a LOT of big one’s to boot.  What’s impressive is that not one individually is massive, as AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ) aren’t so significant like myself and others.  Keep it up!

Investing Pursuits – $268.36 – Even though IP was down 9.3% from last year, IP still received a healthy dose of dividends during February. Nice job IP.

Dividend Vet – $253.53 – There we go, another strong as heck month for the Vet!  34% growth year over year is impressive – I challenge and urge you to keep it up : ) Hopefully Kinder Morgan (KMI) – gets that dividend increase out there later this year!

Dividend Quest – $941.78 – WHOA… Almost $1k?!  You are the leader thus far on the list, You received a few massive payments and dang, we hope to be collecting this much in February.  Congrats.

Dividends are Coming – 18.80 (Euro) – With payments from BMY, KMI, OHI, etc.. – you have a nice portfolio that will keep churning and increasing their dividends for years to come.

Dividend Portfolio – $77.66 – Setting records baby!!  That’s what I’m talking about.  With Starbucks (SBUX) and the monthly REIT of Realty Income (O) – the empire is starting to build.  Keep it up!

My Dividend Dynasty – $803.34 – Uhm…  WHOA.  MDD, just killed it this month.  Big check from AT&T (T) and a nice one coming each month from Realty Income.  Soak it in… oh and reinvest that baby!!!

Divi-Cents – $913.47 – Damn.  Almost the $1k and I hope this is the last month under 4 digits for you, too!

Happy Healthy & Wealthy Girl – $325.35 – Very sweet here!  Looks like you made moves with purchases this month but also collected dividends from 15 companies, including a big one from Omega (OHI).  Congrats and you are on the road to freedom!

American Dividend Dream – $425.91 – Well, I spoke too soon.  You my friend, had a massive dividend income check from Omega (OHI).  Talk about just a huge position you have.  Congratulations, enjoy the big month!

Dividend Family Guy – $625.06 – Those dividend ferries sure did arrive with gifts.  Even though you have some big hitters, the one I am most impressed with is the amount that Procter & Gamble (PG) pays you.  The amount of your PG dividend is amazing and takes quite a bit to get there.  Congrats over there DFG and keep it up.

Young Dividend – $496.12 – I am so impressed by you and everyone here.  The dividends that are being posed is just insane!  You also had a big PG dividend, as well as a hefty dividend from AT&T (T).  Enjoy the divvies!

Captain Dividend – $484.35 – The dividends keep coming for the Captain and the dividend growth chart continues to slop upwards!  That purchase of Pepsi was a very nice purchase as well!  Nice job Captain.

Pollies Dividend – $187.42 –  A very solid 15% year over year increase for Pollies!  We’re loving the progress here and the growth of you Vrijhead Fund.

Time in The Market – $121.96 – A 53% growth rate compared to 2017…nice job TITM!  You’re darn right that every dollar counts and makes a difference!

Dividends Down Under – $7.01 – Arena REIT came through in the clutch for DDU and delivered a nice dividend check in February.   Best part is that DDU is ahead of the dividends received goal for 2018.  Keep up the great progress.

Desi Dividend –  $249.27 –  Not only did Desi post a solid 21% dividend increase, but Desi also closed on a home and is about to experience the joys of home ownership.  Congratulations Desi!

Dividend Income Stocks – $236.45 – Your portfolio increased over $500 compared to January and your dividend income increased over $50 compared to last year!   Those are results that are hard to argue with.  Keep up the great work.

The Broker Dividend Investor – $524.06 –  Woah woah woah.  Two $100+ dividend checks from GIS and T pushed BDI over the $500 mark in February.  Great results!

Dividend Solutions – $838.90 –  Wow, you weren’t kidding when you said February is a great month for dividend income for you.  That $561 bond fund payment was HUGE and delivered a nice chunk of change!

Passive Income Pursuit – $282.84 –  JC continues to deliver strong results.  Here is the best quote of JC’s article. “That’s 7 different pay raises in just one month compared to a big, fat zero from my day job. Combined those 7 companies increased my forward 12-month dividends by nearly $60.50.”  How could you read that and not smile?  Simply amazing JC!

Dividend Gremlin – $233.83 – Gremlin had a 3% increase compared to last year and it would have been higher if Discover would not have changed the month they paid their dividend.  Darn those timing differences!

Passive Canadian Income – $269.51 –  Did we read that correctly?  We sure did.  PCI posted a 283% year over year increase compared to 2017.  Wow.  Congratulations PCI!

All About the Dividends – $309.75 –  Things are progressing nicely for Matthew.   Crossing the $300 mark is great and the fact that you made 8, yes 8, purchases this month is insane.  That’s how you push your dividend income forward right there!

Dividend Investor! – $755.15 – A record-breaking month for Dividend Investor!  If you are setting records in February, we cannot wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for you.  Especially during the final month of the quarter.

Reverse the Crush – $10.57 –  Nice work RTC.   The results of your hard work are starting to show and it sounds like you are setting yourself up for an exciting rest of 2018.  Keep pushing!

Dividend FIREman – $554.76 –  First off, love the blog name.  How could you not??  Second, holy cow that is a great month of dividend income and your dividend.portfolio update is filled with all kinds of amazing updates.  Nice job FIREman!

Single Dad Money – $2.16 – AT&T and O both paid SDM this month and they are two of our favorite dividend stocks that we own.

Passive Income Dude – $114.12 –  PID continues to post strong passive income results.  PID’s dividend income makes up a small portion of the overall income totals for the month and PID’s real estate income almost pushed PID into the 4 digit club in February.

Screaming Little Man – $1,917.88 – SLM continues to deliver strong results and the fact that you almost crossed $2,000 in February, an “off” month, is just insane.  Congrats on the great results SLM!

Dutch Independence – 93.53 Euros – A 355.91% year over year increase was driven by the fact that DI received dividends from 7 new companies in 2018 compared to 2017.   Wow!

Engineering Dividends – $515.89 –  12 companies helped push ED over the $500 mark in February.  The charge was led by OHI, which paid ED over $100.  Very nice results.

Dividend Dozer – $68.81 –  Over a 100% increase compared to dividends received in 2017.   Dozer also received two double-digit percent dividend increases from HRL and ABBV during the month to keep the momentum rolling.

Passive Income Mavericks – $1,247.30 – So nasty.  Another 4 digit earner.  Talk about big moves and I see you love telecom with Verizon (VZ) and AT&T (T).  Keep those divvies going!

Total:  35 Bloggers  produced $14,469.32 (depending on the exchange rate used at the time of the calculation)

I know, I know, this busy season has just been Brutal! Had to get it out there, we would have had it earlier, but my stubborn self wanted the other article to go out on Monday instead. All good!

  1. Woot Woot! Go community!

Some people are simply crushing it, like SLM! Hopefully I’ll be over the 1k mark somewhere in 2019 and over the 2k mark in 2024-25.

Cheers to all and can’t wait to see what March has in store!

    • DI –

Wow… I think you will and $2k is a no brainer by those dates. In fact, I think you’ll be able to cross it a year or two earlier than you think : ) Aka – challenge to accept?

      -Lanny

    • PCI –

You know it. Can’t believe the journey we are all on, right now. It’s just astounding how far we all have come. Keep it up on your end and you better damn well believe, we will on ours.

  2. As always one of my favourite posts for the DGI community. Thanks for doing this. February was a pretty okey month for me since I got close to $105, but the true power behind the DGI strategy is that we focus on time and quality. Hope everyone managed to stay sane and do nothing or just add more companies.

One of our favorites to put together. I would say that’s a solid month. Not as many div increases, but April should be nice – big div aristocrats set to announce : ) It’s funny how simple dividend investing is – save money, buy undervalued dividend growth stocks. Save money, do it again.

Of course and no problem. We wish we could do more, and this is hopefully the last month of our busy season, so that we can include more people and more detail for the March articles!

  4. As always, thanks for including Engineering Dividends, Lanny & Bert. It’s always great to see the wide range of numbers showing the various stages of dividend investing we are at. Can’t wait to see the blowout numbers that will arrive with the March report.

  5. Hey guys,

I’ve been following your site for awhile now. I mainly invest in total market growth ETFs, or industry/emerging markets ETFS. I was wondering if you have any literature on comparisons between total market growth ETFS and the large cap dividend producing companies angle you take.

Thanks, keep up the good work!

    Charles.

  6. Great post again Bert & Lanny. I love this post and is still my favourite of the month!

I had a new personal record in February of €19,17 so I’m pretty darn happy with that one. March will be the first time I can make a YOY comparison so I’m also looking forward to that!

Thanks for compiling the list guys!

    • Also my favourite read of the month. Congratulations to all of you!

I was in the same situation as you last month Mr. Robot, and understand why you’re looking forward to YoY comparison, it’s a motivation boost for sure. For me, March will be the first time I can mark a double digit YoY growth.

  7. Loving This! Such a great collection of amazing bloggers. An absolute honor to be included. We love you guys over on Wallet Squirrel!

Every penny and dollar matters here, this is what it’s all about – collective efforts, brainstorming ideas and sharing thoughts/actions/purpose. Thanks for the comment!

  8. This post is motivating as always! February went ok for me, but with a little bit of luck I could cash in 1000 aussie Dollar in May. That would be a sincere milestone for me. For now I am working on my post for March, which was also a nice month.

  9. The community continues to rock on. I always say that this post should convince anyone on the fence about DGI that it’s possible for anyone to create their own passive income stream. Thanks for sharing.
